Chase Dreams MFTWSC61
Had a good time with some MFT goodies for this one. I followed this weeks MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge MFTWSC61 and finally got to use my new Vertical Greetings stamp set. Instead of using the Vertical Greetings die I opted to use a die from Well Worn Greetings instead. It kind of fit better in my humble opinion. All of my dp used today were scraps that were just accumulating on my desk. Every so often I just have to go through the pile and use up some stuff. Then I finished things off here with some ribbon and pearls from Michaels.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.

The Sky is the Limit
I was cleaning my stamp room a bit and found some TCP goodies that I had not played with yet! Fun find right??
I created todays card using the TCP set called Away we Go and paired it off with some papers from Echo Park called Dots and Stripes Homefront and Dots and Stripes Soda Fountain. The border dies I used were Cloud Border and Apron Border and I finished this off with some crystals. I LOVE all the layers on this one.

You Rock My World.....Mojo229
I saw this MFT image and thought it would make a great card for my hubby since he is a huge music lover. I wanted to make kind of a masculine card so I pulled some scraps from my desk to go with this Ala mode called Rock Star and the Mojo Monday sketch for this week.
I colored my image with copics, cut it out and popped it up on dimensionals. Then added a bit of red bakers twine and some red crystals all to match her cute red high tops.... The dp is just scraps I had on a pile on my desk. I like to pick through it every so often cause I find some real great stuff in that pile!!!
Well this one is going into hubbys lunch tomorrow. Hope he likes it!!!
Thanks for stopping by today.

Birthday Birthday Everywhere
My mom called requesting a handful of Birthday cards for her to have on hand so I went and pulled out some fun sets that I had not worked with in awhile. I tried to make these kind of simple so that they would not cost too much to mail but I am a big layer person so they tend to be heavy anyway.
Thanks for stopping by today. I am off to create something for the MFT weekly challenge.

Warm Wishes
Created my "weekly" holiday card to add to my stash for this year. I have been motivated by my bud Karen and her consistency so I jumped on her bandwagon for the once a week holiday card.
This card today is called Warm Wishes and is created with one of my FAV winter stamps from Verve called Winter Mittens. Being Jewish, I like to create a generic holiday card so I can use them for everyone. Not just Christmas and not just Chanukah.
Along with Winter Mittens I used paper from MME Signature Xmas. The dies I used were MFT Dainty Doilys and Monarch Border.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Hope you enjoy your Monday.

Love Monsters
This set, Love Monsters, from Taylored Expressions is just adorable. I do not have "little" kids anymore but I was just so drawn to the cuteness of these little monsters. I used the set with a MOJO Monday sketch #225 and some pretty scraps of designer paper from my desk. I am going to send this to my little niece for Valentines Day!!
So does anyone have plans for Valentines Day?? When it is during the week the way it is this year it seems to really get lost in the shuffle. I will just treat my kids to something extra sweet to eat. I buy these awesome brownies from a local caterer and they wrap them up beautifully for the holiday. As for DH....I have not even made him a card yet!! :(
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a great Friday

Blowing Bubbles
I thought I had better post last weeks MFT Sketch Challenge card before I started this weeks new challenge huh?? Well if you know me at all you know that this sketch really scared me. Those wonky angles and all but I do like the end result and how can I go wrong with this adorable image from MFT called Blowing Bubbles. I paper pieced and colored with my copics and cut out my image with rectangle nesties. My dp is new from MME and I accessorized with flowers made from the MFT Scallop Rolled Flower and the leaves are made with a SU sizzix die called Little Leafs then a few pearls here and there and I am done.
Thanks much for stopping by. Have a great day!!!!

Finishing things off today is a flower made with MFT Prima Donna Petals Die which if you have not already noticed I am in love with. :)

Lets Hang Out
Hi All!!! Happy Superbowl Sunday. We are excited here in NY because of the Giants playing so there are people "Hanging Out" all day today!! We are having company for the game also.
Another exciting event here in my town is the Annual Polar Bear Swim. We live at the beach and every year on Superbowl Sunday the Polar Bears take a plunge in the ocean to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation. It is a HUGE event here in our town and alot of money is raised every year. This year my kids have decided to take the plunge too. I personally will stay home and wait for my caterer to deliver my food but there will be thousands of people watching this event and participating. Fun stuff.
So it seemed appropriate to post this card I made last week for the Bella Sketch Challenge. I used one of my fav Bella Stamps called Hanging Baskets and I pulled out some older paper called Pixilicious. This stamp reminds me of the 70's with macrame basket hangers. Does anyone remember those or am I dating myself now!!!
Thanks for stopping by today. Enjoy you Sunday..

Get Well Soon
A good friend of our family is having a surgical procedure tomorrow and I wanted to make a card for her to send with a small gift certificate from a local restaurant so she does not have to cook while she is recuperating. She LOVES her tea so I pulled out my CreativiTEA set from Taylored Expressions and created this card using the sketch CPS252 from Card Positioning Systems. It is simple but will be easy to mail.
So does anyone have big plans for Superbowl Sunday? We are having a party. Not huge but enough that I had to order some food. My croc pot only holds so much chili!!! LOL...but I am looking forward to it. Any excuse to get together with friends right!!!
Thanks for stopping by today. Enjoy!

Stand Out
I was so excited to see Taylored Expressions start up their weekly sketch challenge again. I always enjoy Taylor's sketches and I happen to have some new and old TE stamps that need some love so for this weeks challenge I pulled out the Stand Out ala carte stamp. I pulled out some old Echo Park paper to use with my image and then decorated with some flowers made with MFT Prima Donna Petals and MFT Flower Trio. You can see the sketch here.
Ok so has anyone received the new MME paper yet?? I did yesterday and oh my it is so gorgeous!!! I cannot wait to use them. My daughter has been sick so my stamping time the last two days has been limited.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Enjoy your day!!

Just a little note to say....
Okay I cant begin to tell you how happy this little Pure Innocence stamp makes me. She is just simply adorable in every way. And my daughter does not play the violin but there is something so utterly sweet about this set that I just jumped when I saw it go up for sale. She is of course from MFT and is called Violin Girl. I started out wanting to paper piece her dress but her hand and arm challenged me more than it was worth so I colored her with copics.
My kids and husband just ran out to pick up some frozen yogurt from a new franchise that just opened by us called Tutti Fruitie. The kids are crazy about this place and tonight will be my first time giving it a try. I am sure it will be amazing like they say. Does anyone else have a Tutti Fruitie by them??
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an awesome evening!!!

Thanks so much
Played with last weeks Splitcoaststampers sketch for this card today, SC368. I have to say, for some reason this sketch really rocked me....starred at it for days until I could get it finished then it finally all came together.
I will be spending the day studying with my son for his Biology Midterm which is tomorrow so wish me luck. It is so difficult to get a 14 year old boy to study. Atleast MY 14 year old.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a great day!!!

Thanks a Million
Hi All!! I needed a few thank you notes for some birthday presents received so I used this sweet little lamb image called Where Flowers Bloom along with last Wednesdays MFT Sketch 55. I colored him up with copics and spectrum noir markers.
As I am posting this the NY Giants are playing the San Fran 49ers and we are all keeping our fingers crossed for the Giants to pull through to make it to the Superbowl. It is really the only time I will sit through a whole football game. When our local team makes it to the Superbowl, otherwise I get too bored!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by tonight. Enjoy your evening!!

Ohhh was I excited to get my new Love Monsters set from Taylored Expressions in the mail. This set is just sooo adorable and fun. I paired it up with this weeks SCS Sketch SC367. What do you think?? I really like the way this turned out and I am loving this new die from MFT too. The Prima Donna Petals. I have used it on everything lately.
I paper pieced my little monsters and then added some paper piercing around the edge of the image to break up all the white.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Hope you are enjoying your long three day weekend.

Cheers MFTWSC54
Hi All!!! Created this card for two reasons. I wanted to play along with the MFT sketch of the week and I was absent minded and missed a good friends birthday so I wanted to make something special for her. Now I just have to get it in the mail!!! KWIM??
I pulled out the stamp from MFT called Cheers from the ala modes line. I just love that tall thin glass of champagne!! So cute. Then I finally learned how to make my flowers using the Prima Donna Petals Die from MFT. It was suggested to me to go onto You Tube and I found a great tutorial from Kim at MFT. What a huge help. I was clueless on how to create these fun flowers.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Hope you enjoy your weekend!!!

Paper: MME 6 x 6 Portobello Road
