LPSC48 Silver, Navy, Light Blue

Monday challenge time at Little Paper Shop. We have a color challenge this week to use silver, navy and light blue. I could not find ANYTHING silver as far as paper goes so I chose to use basic grey. My image is from the set I Heart from Little Paper Shop. My dp is from SU Prints Pack and Urban Garden. I colored my image with copics and added some bling with my spica pen. My sentiment is from the Friends set and then I embellished with white ribbon and silver brads. Lucky for you the prize this week for one lucky random winner is the I Heart set that I used today which is such an amazing set to own. You will love it!! So just play along with the challenge and upload your card to SCS or PCP with keyword LPSC48. I know the rest of the DT has created some awesome samples for you to look at so go and check that out at the Little Paper Shop Blog.

Stay tuned for the big blog hop at the beginning of the year.

For my card this week I used Mercys Sketch Challenge for this week. I just {HEART} Mercys sketches and was so glad to FINALLY have a chance to use one again. It has been a few weeks. My image is from Taylored Expressions Discover Your Wings set and my dp is also from TE. It was part of a Key Ingredients called Winnies Walls. Isnt this paper so much fun!! All cardstock is Prism and I embellished with a few buttons laced with chocolate linen thread.

So what are you dreaming for this holiday season? Anything good you want to share about? I am just looking forward to the kids being out of school and having alittle bit of quiet quality time. I love the lazy days of vacation. Beats the stress of homework, studying and activities.

Your love lifts me up!!

Hi All!! Boy o boy I have been out of touch with all of you!! I miss visiting all of your blogs. I see some light at the end of the tunnel as business is slowing alittle and with Christmas right around the corner I wont have such pressure to get my orders out in time for the big day!! So now before I tell you about my card for todays Monday Challenge over at Little Paper Shop I have to share about the huge storm that we had yesterday. OMG I have not seen snow like this in along time. We received about 18" and boy is it cold!!!! Mike and Matthew did all of the shoveling. Mike is hurting at the moment but I think a nice heating pad tonight will loosen up his muscles. The kids have of course been having a blast. Poor Lindsay still has the walking boot on her foot because of her toe so I have had to wrap her boot up in a garbage bag for her to enjoy the snow. It is hysterical!! As for me, I spent most of the day making this card. YUP, this simple little card knocked me off my chair. You see, our challenge this week over at Little Paper Shop Blog is to make a ONE layer CAS card.....very hard for me although I finally was satisfied with the way this came out. I used the stamp set {I Heart} and stamped my image with memento tuxedo black. My dp is dcwv and I used black and white cardstock and added ribbon from Michaels. Simply simple dont you think? Want to win a prize this week? Want to win {For You}? Well come and play along. Create your very own one layer cas card and upload with keyword LPSC47 and you will be in the running. Dont forget to check out the rest of the DT's creations for some great eye candy!! They are on my sidebar.

Sweet Monday

What a fun challenge we have for you this week over at Little Paper Shop. Your challenge is to make a card or project with baking as your theme. Anything baking related works and you can be in the running to win the stamp set I Heart. How much fun is that!!!

For my card today I chose this yummy cupcake from the Sugar set at Little Paper Shop. I paper pieced it and cut it out and propped it up on dimensionals. My cardstock is all SU and my dp is K and Company. Ribbon is SU.

We had such a busy and fun Chanukah weekend. It started Friday night with a Chanukah service in Temple. Then Saturday night Mike and I went to a Holiday party at a  good friends house. It was so nice and my friend makes the most lethal Cosmos....very dangerous but oh so good!!! Then we finished off the weekend with a family Chanukah party today at my sisters house so it was a fun and festive weekend filled with friends and family. Needless to say, I am pooped and have a ton of chores to catch up on around the house so this is it for me today but dont forget to go and check out the rest of the DT's creations. You can find their links on my sidebar.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Happy Flutterby Wednesday. Real quick post from me as I am so busy getting ready for Chanukah this weekend. I dont even have holiday decorations up yet and not one gift is wrapped. I am alittle behind dont you think??

So our challenge today is to make a Winter Themed card with a butterfly, fairy or angel. Now I just could not use a butterfly on a winter themed card so I went to Pink Cat Studios and purchased this cute little candy cane fairy and now that I am looking at my picture closely I see that my ribbon is blocking the cute candy cane in her hands. I started by printing my image onto PTI Cardstock and colored with my copics. My dp is from last years SU Ski Slope and my sentiment is from Little Paper Shops Katie Christmas set. I finished off my card with some real red ribbon, brads and some fun flock in cotton ball white on the hat and bottom of the dress.

If you would like to play along this week, just upload your card to Mr Linky on Dannis site or to SCS or PCP. Dont forget to use keyword FBW. And go and check out the rest of the DT's creations. I know you will not be disappointed. They are listed on my sidebar.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a fantastic day. I am off to get everything in a festive mood!!!

I started by printing my image from Little One onto PTI Cardstock in Pumpkin Pie ink and cut it out with my circle and scallop circle nesties. My dp is from My Minds Eye Playful Posies and my cardstock is kraft and pumpkin pie. I finished off my card with a ton of tiny twinkles and a bit of kraft ribbon.

Where ever you go....

Today's card for FBW was made with Mercy's sketch from last week. MTSC49. I flipped it on its side and used images from Unity Stamps which are new and I just had to ink up in honor of my friend Jess being their guest designer this month!! Way to go Jess!!! You rock!!

I printed my image onto Choice Buttercream cardstock with Not Quite Navy ink. All of my cardstock is Prism and my dp is from My Minds Eye Playful Posies that I got for a steal at Michael's this past weekend and of course I added my pretty little butterflies with my fiskar's punch.

When you get a chance, check out the rest of the DT's creations. They are listed on my sidebar and when you upload your card for this week, use keyword FBW so that we can find you or enter your card into Mr Linky on Dannis site here.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day!!

Redo for you!!

Hi All!! I hope you had a fantastic holiday weekend with lots of special time with family and some great shopping. I just got back from a mini vacation in the Poconos with some friends and the family. It was fun and relaxing but now I really need to hit the ground and start making some holiday cards and todays is perfect to duplicate for the holidays. Today is the LPS Monday challenge and this week we are challenging you to use an old Little Paper Shop Sketch for your holiday card. I went back into the archives in the gallery on the Little Paper Shop site and found LPSC15 which looked like fun to use. I paired it up with our Merry and Bright stamp set which is perfect for duplicating Holiday cards. I stamped  my image with Old Olive and then heat embossed it and added tiny twinkles to all the points. My cardstock is all prism and my dp was in my stash so I do not have a name for it. All of my edges are distressed with Tea Dye from PTI and my two snowflakes were cut out with a fiskars punch.

Well I am off to start the pile of laundry that I brought home but we want you to play along with us this week and be in the running for a prize. This week we are giving away {I Heart}. Just create your card and upload to either SCS or PCP with keyword LPSC44. When you get a chance, go check out the rest of the DT creations on the Little Paper Shop Blog.

Have a fantastic Day!!!

Birthday Boy Ian

I made todays card from a cute little digi from The Greeting Farm called Birthday Boy Ian which can be found here. Okay now how cute is he? I know so many of you have been in LOVE with TGF Anyas and Ians but it took me alittle while to catch on. Now that I have a few digis and I purchased a stamp I am in love with these cuties and I made todays card from a Farm Fresh Friday sketch. I started by printing my image onto PTI cardstock and coloring with my copics. I cut it out with a Label 1 nestie and mounted on a circle and scallop circle. My cardstock is Kiwi Kiss and Pacific Point and my dp is Muirfield from SU. I added some brads around the corners and tied a big fat bow and did a bunch of paper piercing and called it a day!! I hope I did this little guy justice. I have watched so many of you use them so beautifully.

So the big news in our house?? My daughter broke her toe. Her big toe on her left foot. They have her in a boot and on crutches because they do not want her to put presure on the foot. So it has been interesting getting her around. I have had to take her to and from school because they do not want her on the school bus and she needs an adult to take her up and down in the elevator at school because she cant walk the steps. Unfortunately we are heading to the Poconos this weekend for a mini vacation and there is a huge indoor water park there that she will not be able to enjoy this year with her friends. I am bringing a load of crafts to keep her busy while the other kids are busy with activities she cannot participate in. I told her she can start making some holiday presents.

So that is our excitement. Hope all is well with you. Thanks so much for stopping by.

LPSC43 Color Challenge

We were issued a really fun color challenge today over at Little Paper Shop Blog from Julie. Real Red, Kraft and Soft Suede. I must admit that I was alittle scared of the combo when I first pulled my cardstock but after some careful thought I came up with this card which I really like.

I started by stamping the balloon image from the new set {I Heart} onto Choice Cream Cardstock and colored the basket with my copics. Then I paper pieced the heart balloon with paper from SU's Ski Slope. The rest of my dp is SU Parisianne Breeze Specialty. Brads and ribbon are SU also. I am really loving this color combo. What do you think? Want to play along and win a prize? The prize this week is Merry and Bright. Just upload your creation to SCS or PCP with keyword LPSC43 for a chance to win. Cant wait to see what you come up with!! Also dont forget to head over to the Little Paper Shop Blog and check out what the rest of the DT created for you this week.

From the heart!

Hi everyone!! Made this card the other day for Taylors Sketch Challenge TESC91 and I used a super cute digi image from Pink Cat Studios. I am so in love with thier digis. One is more adorable than the next.
I printed my image onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored with my copics and cut it out with my circle nesties. All my cardstock is Prism and my dp is from We R Memory Keepers. I picked it up at Michaels and just new it would be perfect for this image. I finished off my card by sewing all the edges with my Janome, even the round circle which was a first for me and I made a few boo boos so of course I had to add the flower to adjust!! LOL. The flowers are prima and I added some crystal stickles for some shine.

Thats all for me today. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great one!!

FBW84 and MTSC48

Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday. Now you know how much I love Mercy's Sketch Challenges and of course I love FBW so I am always happy when I can combine the two together for a fun creation like today.

I used one of my loved Flopsey Stamps from MFT called Flopsey Flowers. I stamped it onto PTI Cardstock, colored with copics and then cut it out to mount onto my panel which was cuttlebugged and sponged with Tea Dye from PTI. My dp is Cosmo Cricket and my cardstock is Not Quite Navy and Kiwi Kiss. I used two seperate edge punches. Fiskars and MS and of course cut out my butterflies with my MS punch. Finished this card off with some paper primas that I doubled up and some crystal stickles in the centers of the flowers and along the edge of the cream flower.

Now come and play along with FBW. You just need to remember to use a butterfly, fairy or angel on your card and this week is an open week as far as the challege. Then when you are done with your card you can upload it to SCS or PCP with keyword FBW or add it to Mr Linky on Dannis Blog. And on my side bar is the rest of the DT links so go check them out and give them some love.

Thanks bunches for stopping by today. Hope your day is terrific!! (OK that sounded alittle like Mr Rodgers didnt it!!!!) Bye for now.

***I want to send out big sorrys to Kris, Pam, and Karen who I neglected to welcome to our team today!!! You girls are awesome and I am so glad to be on the same team with you!!**

You are the best son!!

Hi everyone!! Well my son tried out for his Middle School Basketball team last week and did not make it. Needless to say, he is pretty bummed out so I thought I would make him a card to show him how terrific he is. I just knew these two brand new sets from Little Paper Shop would be perfect for what I was looking for. Both are being released today!! They are {I Heart} and {For You}.
I started by stamping my flower image 3 times onto PTI cardstock then stamped my sentiment right next to it. This new sentiment set from Little Paper Shop is fantastic because you can taylor your sentiment to who you want. Mother, Father son daughter ect...My dp is My Minds Eye. All cardstock is prism and I used ribbon from MFT's Spring Pack.

Don't forget about the huge sale that is going on right now over at Little Paper Shop. Starting today and running until next Monday, all sets will be 10% - 70% off. Head over and pick up some goodies for yourself and check out the new releases also!!!

Thanks so much for popping by. Have a great one!!

{For You} day two of previews LPSC42

Yes that is the name of the second fantabulous set that we are previewing over at Little Paper Shop. {For You}. If you have ever looked for a sentiment set that says so much about family, look no further. This set is for you and it was created in such a clever way where you can plug in the family member that you wish to send the card to. For example on my card the sentiment reads "Sisters share a love tied with heartstrings", but the sister was a plugin. I could have put cousin, father, mother, brother ect...you get the picture. FANTASTIC and versatile.

So onto my creation for our challenge today which was to use die cuts on our card. LPSC42. I was excited to do this card because other than my nesties, I neglect my die cuts so I took out one of my favs. Little Leaves from SU. My main image from {I Heart} was stamped onto PTI cardstock and the basket was colored with my copics and the heart balloon portion was paper pieced with the delish paper I used from My Minds Eye. All cardstock is Prism and of course my sentiment is from the {For You} set. Both of these new sets will be released tomorrow at Little Paper Shop along with a GINORMOUS sale that Julia is having. You have to check this out, all sets will be 10%-70% off. Whoo Hoo!!

And once again would you like to win a free stamp set? Well you have two chances today to do so. First, go over to the Little Paper Shop blog and leave a comment and then another winner will be announced next week from the challenge entries.

Dont forget to check out the rest of the DT's creations. You can find them on my sidebar. Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a great one!!

{I HEART} Previews and a good sale!!!

Woo Hoo its preview time at Little Paper Shop and I am way excited to preview today's set called {I HEART}.  OMG you are going to LOVE this set. A heart topiary, a heart hot air balloon, fantastic sentiments in such a soft pretty font and then these sweet little bird houses that I used for today's card.

I started by stamping my bird houses onto PTI cardstock with Memento Rich Cocoa ink. I used a dew drop so I could only ink the house and not the little heart in the middle. I colored the little hearts with my red marker (not a copic) and stamped each house individually. The set comes with the large one and the small one. Then I took the basket from the topiary and cut it out for the middle house and used the basket from the hot air balloon and cut it out for the small houses. They are popped up on dimensionals. Everything is colored with my copics. My dp is my beloved Bella Rose which I am so glad I stocked up on when it was being discontinued. All cardstock is su. My ribbon was from stash and my flower is from SU. All easy peasy and I just {HEART} how this came out.

Okay so you want some good news. Well first off you can be in the running to win this set if you go to the Little Paper Shop Blog and leave a comment. THEN head on over to the Little Paper Shop site where Julia is running an INCREDIBLE sale for this week only. Everything will be 10% - 70% off. I just KNOW you will be able to fill your cart real quick with lots of goodies. Don't forget to stop by tomorrow when I will preview another new set. Both will be released on Tuesday.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great one and come back and let me know what goodies you get from Little Paper Shop!!

MTSC47 Sending you Smiles

Hi Everyone! Well just to give you an idea of how crazy things are here, I could not find where I put this card today. I picked it up earlier to photograph it, got distracted and lost it in my house!! Took me about half an hour to find where I placed it down!! Too Funny!!

My card today is for Mercys Tuesday Sketch Challenge MTSC47. I used my new Basic Grey Lemonade Paper and a set from MFT called Hooga Booga. How sweet is this little girl monster? She is so cute I cant even see calling her a monster. I paper pieced her little body and then stamped the bow twice onto the yellow paper and popped one layer up for some dimension. The rest of her is colored with my copics. I embellished very simply today using a crocheted flower from my bud Jodi and then a paper prima in the center and few little tiny twinkles in the opposite corner. Hope you like it!! I think she is so sweet.

Thanks so much for popping by today. Hope you have a great one!!

Happy FBW!!

Okay so once again my brain is mush....I made my FBW card last night around 11pm only to realize this morning that I did not follow the theme everyone was using which is to Give Thanks. Sorry again Danni!! But I guess instead of giving thanks for all the wonderful friends and family, with my card am telling everyone how happy you make me!! And it is so true!! I really do love all of my blogging friends and am so sorry I have not made my rounds lately. Not having the laptop is very inconvenient and then with Bar Mitzvah planning for my son...well...you know how it goes. But enough about that, onto my card...

For todays card I used a really sweet digi from Pink Cat Studios Digis called IBBetty Butterfly. I printed her onto PTI Cardstock and colored with my copics. I had a little bleeding today with my copics and I was surprised because it never happened to me before. My wonderful sentiment is from Paper Makeup. My dp today is Basic Grey Lemonade and all of my cardstock is Prism. To finish things off I used my spica pen in all the burgundy areas for tons of glitter which you can't really see and I added a wonderful crocheted flower with a prima paper rose in the center.

Do me a favor and go check out the rest of the DT's creations, they are on my sidebar.  I know you will be inspired to come and play along with us this week. If so, just make a card showing your theme of giving thanks and upload to SCS or PCP with keyword FBW.

Thanks so so much for popping in today. Have a fantastic one!!
****Just a quick note which I forgot to mention when I posted earlier. My layout today is from Taylors Expressions sketch from last friday. TESC90****

Rock Star kind of day!!

Hi All!! I know you are probably shocked to see me posting being I have been MIA for most of the last week. I just cant seem to shake this lack of mojo. I have so much going on in my life with the kids that I just cant seem to pull my crafting brain together!!! LOL!!  I was able to find some time yesterday to pull my brain out of the fog and make my LPS card for todays sketch challenge which is LPSC41!! You can find it here on the Little Paper Shop Blog. Super fun sketch and I used a super fun stamp set from Little Paper Shop called Little One. How cute is this funky guitar for a little boy card? I love this set with all the cute little phrases to go with the images.

My dp today is from Cosmo Cricket. All Cardstock is Prism. My ink is Not Quite Navy. I used a ton of bling around my image and colored my sheer ribbon to match with my copics and added a blinged out button. Okay so maybe I went alittle to bling for a boys card but I love the way this came out anyway!!

Come and play along with the sketch this week and you can be in the drawing for the stamp set Merry and Bright. Just upload to SCS or PCP with keyword LPSC41. Have a great time and for more inspiration, go check out the rest of the team which is listed on my sidebar.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a fantastic day!!

I am still around!!

Just wanted to pop in to say Hi and let you all know that I am still around. Along with a lack of mojo, I have had an enormously busy week and virtually had no time to stamp but things are quieting down so I am hoping to get back to my crafting desk this weekend and have something good for you to see by the end of the weekend. I will definitely  have my Monday LPS post so be sure to come back for that!!

Have a great weekend. Miss you all!!

Little Angel

Okay so as I look at this card I am scratching my head. Baby card?? Yes or No?? Not your typical colors but the pattern from Cosmo Crickets Earth Love is soft so I went with it for todays challenge over at Little Paper Shops Blog which is to use stamps AND Digis. I chose one of Little Paper Shops Digi images called Lilly Lamb and used a sentiment from the Little One set. I printed my image out onto cream cardstock and colored with my copics and then blinged out my little lamb with crystal stickles. I used all Prism cardstock, little tiny twinkles in the center of the clovers, paper prima flower and very vanilla ribbon. I think it actually came out pretty cute!! What do you think? Interested in winning a prize this week? How about Katie Caroler? Well it could be yours by lucky draw. Just create your own card or project using LPS Stamps and digis and upload using keyword LPSC40. And most important....Have fun!!! If you would like some more inspiration, just check out the rest of the DT on my sidebar and see what they came up with!!

Thanks so much for stopping in today. I just cant believe it is November already!! I cant even wrap my brain around it!! Have a great one!!

Sending you Smiles SC252

Hi Everyone. Thursday is finally here and we are counting down to Halloween. I just need to put the finishing touches on my daughters 80's Diva Costume aka Madonna although she does not realize this like I do. We are looking at some warmer weather for Saturday so Trick or Treating will not be uncomfortable. We will be going to two seperate sections of our town so the kids should have alot of fun!! Any one doing anything special for Halloween?

For todays card I used the SCS sketch challenge of the week SC252 with my Spread a Harvest of Hope stamp from MFT. The stamp made the image panel bigger than what it was supposed to be but I think it works well. I stamped my image onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock from Taylored Expressions and colored with my copics and then added some crystal stickles to the centers of the daisy type flower. My colored cardstock is all SU and my dp is SU Bella Birds. I did a bunch of sewing around my panels but please dont look too close because I did not have such a steady hand and then I finished my card off with a paper prima, button and some linen thread. My sentiment is also from MFT Hooga Booga Set.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a fantastic day and I am getting used to a new Blog Hopping Schedule on my PC so I will be making my way around more often now until my laptop gets fixed.

Buttony Friend for FBW

Hey Everyone!! Another wonderful day for FBW over at Dannis Dreams. As always the challenge is to use a butterfly or fairy on your card and either link it to Mr Linky on Dannis blog or upload to SCS or PCP with keyword FBW.

For my card today I used a cute image a friend stamped for me from Stamping Bella. I colored her with my copics and cut her out with my round nesties. All of my cardstock is SU and my dp is from My Minds Eye Oh la la for her. Buttons and linen thread from my stash. My layout however is from Mercys Tuesday Sketch Challenge, MTSC45 which can be found here.

I am still without a laptop so it has been hard to do my bloghopping. I am sorry I have not been around to alot of your blogs to say hi!! I promise I will be back soon!! Thanks so much for stopping by today and have a great one!!

Round and round!!

Okay our challenge this week for Little Paper Shop is an awesome sketch which can be found here. Now I have NEVER made a round card so I am not sure it this came out right. Is it supposed to be flat on top? That was the only way I can figure to make an actual card in this shape. Any other suggestions???

So anyway for today's card I used my scallop round and round nesties and my rectangle nesties. Dp is from Cosmo Cricket Wonderland and my cardstock is SU. I stamped the snowflake image, which is from the Merry and Bright set a few times onto PTI Cardstock in Linen and put some gold stickles in the centers. My sentiment is from the Christmas Tags set and was also stamped in Linen. I finished off with some gorgeous sheer gold ribbon and called it a day!! Whoa Sugar Rush!!

Goodmorning!! It is a rainy Saturday morning here on Long Island, but we have some errands to run and a surprise birthday party to go to later so I hope it lets up alittle.

My card today is for Taylors Friday Sketch Challenge TESC88. I had so much fun making this card last night. It uses some of my new fav paper from My Minds Eye, the colors are bright and cheerful and that TE image from Trick or Sweet II is just toooo adorable dont you think?

I started off by stamping my image onto PTI cardstock and paper pieced the crazy hair and the body and colored the head with my copics. My dp is Ooh la la for her by My Minds Eye and my colored cardstock is SU. Ribbon is from MFT Spring Bundle and flowers are primas. Brads I believe were from Doodlebug. Oh and I used my Janome sewing maching to sew around the edges of the two square panels. What do you think? Fun huh??

Just one more note, my laptop has died on me so if I do not get to some of your blogs as regularly as I used to please forgive me. I am doing all my work on my PC and wont be able to blog hop at the times that I am used to. (late at night in bed!!!!). Hopefully within a week or two I can get it fixed or will have to buy a new one!! (ouch!!)

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great weekend.

TESC87 Found a Prince

Made this card for last Fridays Sketch from Taylored Expressions. I am looking at this uploaded picture and I am sorry that it is alittle washed out. It did not look like this when I edited it.
I started out with my image from Trick or Sweets II, stamping it onto PTI Cardstock and colored with my copics and then added Dazzling Diamonds to the crown and the thingy bobits in his hand (what is that called???) I cut out my image with a circle nestie and mounted it onto a label 9 nestie. My dp is Muirfield from SU and my cardstock is all SU too. Ribbon is baja breeze from SU and my button was from my stash.

Thanks for taking a peeky today. So glad you came by for a visit. Have a great one!!

Flutterbys and Fairies!!

Hi and Happy FBW!! This weeks challenge is another open challenge, meaning you can use a butterfly or fairy any way you would like. I took this and really stretched the rules....I just have the WORD FAIRY in my card and then I added a tiny little butterfly to my sentiment panel. Hope this is okay Danni!!!

My card today follows Mercys Tuesday Sketch Challenge MTSC44. My sentiment happens to be digi from Paper Makeup and I printed it out onto PTI Cardstock. My dp is what I consider to be the most gorgeous paper SU has made, Bella Rose. I actually stocked up on this before it was retired and I am so glad that I did. All colored cardstock, ribbon and brads are SU also. Wow I practically have an all SU card. Imagine that!!!

Now if for some reason you cannot read the sentiment, it says "Whoever said that fairies dont exist must never have been mother to a little girl" Ohh how true it is!!! My little girl is the biggest twinkle toes fairy there is!!! And she is not so little anymore going on 11 in two months but she is a real sweetie, always wanting to snuggle and get lots of hugs and kisses!! Gotta love it!!!

So if you would like somemore inspiration to help you with your card this week just check out the rest of the DT. They are listed on my sidebar. They never cease to amaze me with all of thier superb talent. Then after you make your FBW card link it to Mr Linky on Dannis Blog or upload it to SCS or PCP with keyword FBW. Have fun and thanks so much for stopping by today!!!

Sentiment is from Jessicas set from TGF called Butterfly Wishes (which I just noticed is out of stock but check back again on the website). All embellies are from my stash.

Holiday Blessings in Blue

Hi All! I hope you had a fantastic weekend. Mine? Blech!! I had all intentions of crafting most of the dreary weekend away but my ds had a ton of homework and well, was not accomplishing it unless I was on top of him. It was like pulling teeth for two days!! How frustrating. Then my dd had a friend come over that wanted to make a birthday card for her father so I spent some time working on that for her and of course spent time sewing my dd's Halloween Costume so there went my weekend.(actually my crafting time). I was however able to squeek in my Monday LPS Challenge card for you to take a look at!! We have an awesome sketch this week for you to try and the prize this week is to win the Merry and Bright set. You can find the sketch here along with samples from the rest of the DT. I have had a peek at a few and they are amazing. You need to take a looksy for yourself.

My card today is using Katie Caroler. I stamped her onto PTI cardstock and colored with my copics. My dp is from Graphic 45 and my colored cardstock is SU. Ribbon and brads are from Michaels and my sentiment which is from the Christmas Tags set was cut out with my circle punches.

Thanks so much for popping in today. Have a great one!! I am going to go and try to sneak in some crafting to make up for lost time!!

Last entry for Taylors Sketch Challenge

Hi Everyone, Quick post so I can link up my last entry for Taylors Sketch Challenge and Sketch DT search. My first two are posted to SCS under my name annk516, but I will post them here also in a day or so.

My image from TE Sweet Celebrations is stamped onto PTI cardstock and colored with my copics. I used Brocade Blue, Riding Hood Red and So Saffron Cardstock and a scrap of dp from the retired SU Parisianne Summer paper. Added brads and anchors (I think that is what they are called!!) and cut my strip with a fiskars border punch.

Have a good one and I will be back later with another post. Thanks for stopping by.

Trim the Tree

Happy Columbus Day to my US friends and Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian Friends!! Because it is Monday, I am so happy to bring you a new challenge from Little Paper Shop. This week is a sketch challenge issued by our very own Allison. LPSC37 found here. What an awesome sketch and a great way for me to display two of LPS new stamps which were released last week. Katie Christmas and Merry and Bright. These two sets are completely versatile and can be mixed and matched to create endless cards!! For my card today I took the tree from Katie Christmas and stamped it with Brilliance Gold and then embossed it with gold ep on PTI Cardstock. I then decorated my tree with tiny gold twinkles. My sentiment is from Merry and Bright and is stamped onto PTI Cardstock. My cardstock is all SU and my dp is from Cosmo Cricket Wonderland (I think from last year). Brads are from SU and ribbon is from Michaels.

Want to win a prize this week?? Of course you do. Come and play along with our sketch and you could be in the drawing for the set Merry and Bright. Just upload your creation to SCS or PCP with keyword LPSC37. Come and play along!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Go and check out the rest of the dt's creations when you get a moment. Have a great one!!

Sweet Lemons

I have to say that I just LOVE my Lockhart stamps and whenever I get an opportunity to use them I am a very happy camper.

Today's card is made for Mercys Tuesday Sketch Challenge. MTSC42. I started off by stamping my image onto PTI cardstock and coloring with my copics. My cardstock is Bermuda Bay and Dusty Durango and my dp is my new and much loved My Minds Eye Oh la la for her. My ribbon is very vanilla from SU and I had the linen thread and button in stash. Oh and my brads are from SU also.

So my daughter went apple picking with a birthday party yesterday and came home with a HUGE bag of fresh delicious apples, so my goal for the day is to make my Grandmas German Apple Crumb Cake. YUMMO!!! And how delish will the house smell on a crisp Sunday afternoon with apples baking? DOUBLE YUMMO!!! So I am off to start prepping for my cake. I wish you were all here to have some cake and coffee with. Wouldn't that be fun? I would love to meet all of my blog friends but being that is not possible today,  I will think of all of you as I bake and eat today.

HUGS to you!!

Bunches of Thanks SC249

Here is my take on this weeks SCS sketch challenge. SC249. It is a great sketch this week and I just got in some new Flopsey stamps from MFT and they fit perfect with this sketch. My dp is from SU and Graphic 45. I used very vanilla and not quite navy cardstock and finished the card off with some very vanilla ribbon a blue button and some chocolate twine.

Thanks so much for taking a peek today. I am off to get ready for one of my weekly guilty pleasures....GREYS ANATOMY!!

Have a fantastic night.

A no challenge Challenge

This is a no challenge FBW Challenge over at Dannis Dreams today. There is nothing to follow this month, just make a flutterby or fairy card ANY way you want. So much fun!!

I chose a really simple layout today. My cardstock is all SU and my dp is from the Prints Pack. I colored my beige prima flowers to match my paper and then punched out my butterflies with my MS punch, layered them together and added some tiny twinkles to my flowers and my butterflies. My sentiment is from Little Paper Shop which also comes with two gorgeous butterflies. Actually speaking of LPS you can still head over there for the sale on all of the October release. You so do not want to miss out on this sale. It ends TODAY!!

Thanks bunches for stopping by today. Take a peak at the rest of the FB DT's work if you get a moment. They are some super talented ladies. Names are on my sidebar. Have a fantastic day!!

Harvest of Hope

I received a few new stamps in from MFT and some new My Minds Eye paper from a vendor on ebay and I just had to pair the two together. I stamped my image onto PTI cardstock and colored with my copics. My dp is MME Oooh la la for her. My cardstock is SU and Prism. I am really trying to make the full switch to Prism but I am having a tough time with it. I am such a creature of habit I guess and I know my SU cardstock so well it is hard to make paper decisions with the prism. I need to always be using my swatch book and that thing is HUGE!! But the prism offers such a WIDE variety of colors and my lss carries it so I just have to do this already right??

So back to my card. I then finished off with a simple bow, prima flower and green button with linen thread. Easy peasy today.

Thanks a bunch for stopping by. Have a great one and I hope you are enjoying your day.

I added alittle bling onto the cake with my Crystal Stickles, added a nice big ribbon bow with button and linen thread and finished off with some paper piercing. Thanks a bunch for taking a peek today. See you all tomorrow!!
HUGS to you!!

C4C5 Crazy for Challenges

Yes I have been busy!! Made this card for the Crazy for Challenges challenge yesterday which was to use sewing on your card.

I used an image from PTI Vintage Baskets and paper pieced the basket then colored the rest with my copics. My dp is from SU as is my delish ribbon which probably was one of the first ribbons I bought from SU and I have just a tiny bit left but oh how I love this ribbon. Flowers are from Prima, sentiment from The Cats Pajamas and tiny twinkles from TE. And of course sewing with my Janome.

Thanks again for popping by. Have a great one!!

TESC85

Whoo Hoo what a great sketch challenge Taylor has this week over at Taylored Expressions. You can find it here.

For my card, I used mostly TE items. I had some delish paper left over from the Brilliance Key Ingredients so I used that with a stamp from Sweet Celebrations and colored with my copics and then you cant see it in the picture but I added tons of stickles to the cake. I did some paper piercing around my main image and around my sentiment which I cut out with my circle punches. Then to finish things off, I added a gorgeous orange ribbon, button and some chocolate brown linen thread and of course some tiny twinkles which I cant seem to live without!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a peek. I will be back with a post for Crazy 4 Challenges which I was able to finish yesterday also!!

HUGS to you!!

The Last Minute!!

*****Please scroll down for today's LPS Preview***

How perfect is this sentiment that I bought from Paper Makeup. It is a digi and I think it is hysterical and sooo true.

I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch for this card MTSC41. I printed my sentiment onto white cardstock and cut it out with Label 2, did some sponging around the rim with my PTI Tea Dye and then mounted it onto a Label 2 of Sahara Sand. My dp is Little Yellow Bicycle and Cosmo Cricket. Cardstock is Really Rust, Night of Navy and Sahara Sand. My border punch is from MS and my ribbon is from Michaels.

Thanks so much for taking a peek. Hope you have a fantastic day!!

Well today I am lucky enough to Preview another FAB set from Little Paper Shop that is being released tomorrow!! It is called Katie Christmas. It comes with adorable Katie who can either be holding a star,an ornament or a stocking, an adorable Christmas tree, wonderful sentiment, and this awesome fireplace. I chose to showcase this beautiful fireplace with some adorable stockings hanging off of it. I stamped my image ont PTI cardstock and colored with my copics and cut the entire image out. I paper pieced the stocking and "hung them with care"!! My dp is from Cosmo Cricket Wonderland and I embossed my middle panel. Then I finished this off with some gorgeous burgandy ribbon tied in a bow and a flower from Hero Arts colored with my copics.

TESC84

***Please scroll down to see to see my LPS Preview for today***

Okay so this card has literally been in the making all week. First I loved it then I hated it and so on....but I finally just wanted to finish it up and you know what?? Its not bad!! I like it.

I stamped my image from Taylored Expressions set Trick or Sweet II onto PTI Cardstock and paper pieced her dress and start and colored the rest with my copics. I cut out some circles and scalloped circles with my nesties and did some layering. My dp is from DCWV. Rose Red ribbon from SU, flower from Hero Arts, brad from Doodlebug and of course some tiny twinkles to finish it off.

Thanks so much for taking a peek...I am off to see what other challenges I can accomplish today.

Tag.. your it!!

I am so excited today to continue with the Oct 3rd Little Paper Shop release previews!! Today is Christmas Tags. Such a versatile set!!  Today I went with a Tag for a gift and a Tag for a treat. On the left, the circle says "Do not open until Christmas"  I stamped the image onto Choice Buttercream and cut it out with my circle nesties both outside the ring and inside the ring and then attached it to my tag with the ribbon on the top. I just looped it through. The bottom of this tag says "From Our Family to Yours" and behind the words I stamped a small christmas ornament. How gorgeous will this look on a gift for the holidays?? The tag on the right was made for treats. The circle says "Holiday Treats baked fresh for you," and again I cut it out with my circle nesties. My paper is stamped with tiny gingerbread men to make a fun DP and I put a tiny gingerbread man in the middle of my circle. I know in this picture that circle looks crooked on that Label 9 nestie but IRL it is centered. Not sure why the picture looks that way. DP on both cards is Basic Grey Wassail, ribbons are from Michaels, flowers are from Hero Arts and are colored with copics.

Dont forget, mark your calendars for this Saturday, Oct 3rd, which will be the day you can purchase this awesome set and also purchase Katie Caroler that I previewed on Monday!!

If you get a moment, go and check out what the rest of the DT has done with this set. I am sure it will be amazing to see the versatility and if you want to win this set, just hop over to the Little Paper Shop Blog and leave a comment to be entered into the drawing!!
Thanks so much for popping by today. Be sure to check back with me tomorrow when I preview yet another of the 4, yes I said 4 new sets that Little Paper Shop is releasing on Saturday!!!
