Crafters Companion Blog Hop

Welcome to the Crafter's Companion USA Christmas blog hop!

We are so excited to be giving away so many of Crafter's Companion's fabulous products, as well as sharing many Christmas project ideas. If you are coming from Stacy's Blog, you are in the right place. If not, make sure you head over to Crafter’s Companion USA over here, where the blog hop starts. We are giving away a prize on every blog, including the entire set of our new Spectrum Noir alcohol markers to one lucky winner who posts a comment on every blog. These markers are so new, that you will be receiving our first prototype of them. That's 72 markers!

Spectrum Noir pens are alcohol ink based which have been designed specifically for crafters, but these affordable markers are also great for beginners, students and hobby artists alike. Each pen is double-ended, with a broad chisel nib for large area fills and a fine bullet tip for detailed work. Spectrum Noir marker pens will soon be available in 168 colour shades including a colourless blender. The colours blend seamlessly and can be mixed or layered over each other. These fast drying, alcohol based markers are acid-free and non-toxic, and the coloured ends of the pen allow for easy colour identification. (Please note: The design of the pen, color names and numbers may be different than the pens that will be released in January.) The image colour has been reproduced as accurately as possible.

For today's blog hop project I created a card with the Humphrey stamp called 1st Christmas which is also the stamp that I will be giving away during the hop to one lucky random commenter. Just comment before Sunday December 11th at midnight for your chance to win. All the winners' names will be posted at Crafter's Companion USA News blog on Tueday December 13th. (Must be a U.S. resident to win).

Your next stop is the talented Jinky
Thank you for joining us today and GOOD LUCK!!!!

Paint Fusion with Sheena Douglass

Hi Everyone!! It always amazes me how simple it is to paint something beautiful with the Paint Fusion system by Sheena Douglass. I always get started staring at all my materials with such fear and then once you get started and follow her super easy directions you get so motivated at what you are creating.

Sheena Douglass's new Christmas line, which we are all previewing for you this week, has warm and festive images for all of your Christmas need. Today I chose to go with the image "Tree". I stamped my large image twice and painted them with acrylic paint and my brushes. Then I stamped the background images onto my cardstock to make it look like a forest and I cut out my larger trees and popped them up with dimensionals. The beautiful scroll on the bottom of the card was created using my Ultimate Crafters Tool. It is one of the embossing features of the tool and then I just added a few tiny crystals for a bit of bling.

I hope you are enjoying the Sheena Douglass Paint Fusion Previews from Crafters Companion. Thanks so much for stopping by today.

I Wheelie Love You

Played with some of last months release from The Cats Pajamas. Today I used the cutest set called Wheel Love. I always find this little bunnies ears to be so intimidating to color....they are huge but I do like the way he came out today.

I started by stamping my image onto Xpress Blending Paper and coloring with copics. My dp is MME 6 x 6 Happier. All cardstock is from PTI and so is my ribbon. I dry embossed my bluish panels and of course my image is cut out with circle nesties.

Thanks so much for popping in today. Hope you enjoy your day!!!

Ssssso glad to see you!!!

Today is our last day of sneak peaks for There She Goes. Today we are previewing a new set called Zoopendous. It was collaborative creation between Melyssa and Judy. Here are some more deets on this set:

Peacocks, and hippos and snakes, oh my! Judy Rozema was our lucky winner from this year’s Mother Of All Blog Hops and one of her prizes was the chance to work with TSG to design a stamp set in a theme of her choice. She said that she would like a fun zoo stamp set that incorporated some animals that are different than you might find in other stamp sets and we knew just who the perfect illustrator would be for this! Melyssa’s adorably whimsical zoo animals will have you going wild!

Zoo-pendous is a 6x8 set that will sell for $24.

Would you like a chance to win the Zoo-pendous stamp set? Here’s what you need to do- go to each of the Trendsetter’s Blogs and leave a comment on their Zoo-pendous Blog Hop Challenge post. After you have finished checking out the eye candy and have left some love, return to the TSG Blog and add your name to the Mr. Linky at the bottom of this Blog Hop Challenge post. A winner will be chosen randomly using a random number generator to receive their very own Zoo-pendous stamp set. The winner will be announced Saturday July 30th during the Release Party

Here is my creation for today. Like I did with the rest of the week, I used scraps off my pile to make this card so I do not know whose paper I used. I colored my little guy with copics and cut it out using Labels 1 nesties. I added alittle coat of crystal effects on the eyes which I am not sure you can see. Then I could not figure out a good place for the sentiment on the front so I created alittle panel inside for it.

Dont forget to leave comments all the way through the blog hop for a chance to win todays set. I am hoping you came to me from Angelas blog. Up next after me is Christine. Have fun along the hop and I cant wait to see you at the Release Party on Saturday!!!

Float My Boat is a 3x4 set that includes a total of 9 stamps and will sell for $7

Would you like a chance to win the Float My Boat stamp set? Here’s what you need to do- go to each of the Trendsetter’s Blogs and leave a comment on their Float My Boat Blog Hop Challenge post. A winner will be chosen randomly using a random number generator to receive their very own Float My Boat stamp set. The winner will be announced Saturday July 30th during the Release Party Chat.

For my card today I went with a bit of a masculine color scheme. I have been trying to use some of the larger scraps on my pile so I am sorry that I dont know what paper I used. My gorgeous seam binding is from The Ribbon Carousel. Now I hope you are following along on the hop. If you are you should have come to me from the TSG Blog. Next up after me is Christine. Wishing you all kinds of Happiness!

Hi All!! We just got back from our family vacation to Lake George. We had such a fabulous time. The weather was perfect and so were the kids. I could not have asked for a better time. I made this card from There She Goes before I left but never had a chance to post it, and it was a good thing I got it done before hand because we were not able to take ALL of my crafting supplies that I wanted to. My husband thought he brought the necessary box but left behind the ink and stamps. Soooooo a week without crafting for me. I am going to make up for lost time tomorrow for sure. But todays card is made with the There She Goes set called Blossom by Blossom (which I just noticed is out of stock). I decided to do some paper piecing with this little sweetie and then colored the rest with copics. My paper is MME and my flowers and border were made with MFT Dienamics.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I am glad to be home to get to my craft room but I am also afraid to go down there and face the MOUND of laundry we brought home!!! LOL. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!!

Welcome to our Dog Hop!!!

Welcome to Sketch Challenge 80 and the release of Dogs Vol 1! If you just came from Latisha"s blog, you are in the right place. If you just happened along my blog today, start at the beginning of the hop at Skipping Stones Design. The entire hop order is there and you can hop from blog to blog with ease.

For my card today I inked up this cute little shaggy dog. Dont know actually what kind of dog it is but so cute none the less. My DP is MME, ribbon is SU, flowers are prima with a Making Memories brad in the center and pearls are from Michaels.

Be sure to hop along and leave comments on all the fabulous designers blogs. This month we are welcoming the super talented Latisha Yoast, Dina Kowal and Karn Akesdotter to our team as Guest Designers! Latisha will be providing all the fabulous sketch inspiration this month including the awesome sketch we're using in today's hop!

Head over to Karin's blog for some more Skipping Stones Design inspiration!
