Well the temperature finally cooled off enough for me to get into my steambox of a craft room to get alittle something done!! I wanted to work on Taylors Weekly Sketch TESC122 since I have not played along in awhile and believe it or not, I have had this ala carte Turtles in love stamp from Taylor for quite awhile and have not inked it up yet. Shame on me!!!
I started by stamping my image onto PTI Creme cardstock and coloring with my copics. The dp I used came from an older Key Ingredients from Taylor as did all of the cardstock and the ribbon. Then I cut out and twirled alittle flower embellie, added some sugared brads and I am done.
Thanks so much for taking a peek today. I am so hoping to get some more crafting done since the temperature has cooled off a bit. Bear with me...I will be back in full swing. Have a great day!!

Mercys Tuesday Sketch on Sunday!!
I have been lacking in mojo lately. The weather is so hot and I do not have air in my crafting room, but I have missed doing Mercys Tuesday sketch so I was determined today to accomplish MTSC83 today. As you can see I did not do any stamping or coloring today except for my sentiment. My dp is a combination of October Afternoon and Cosmo Cricket. Cardstock is all SU as is my sentiment and the leaf die that I used. Then I simply rolled a few flowers in three different sizes and created a focal panel. I added a layer of scalloped cork on the bottom and my ribbon is PTI. A few pearls in the center of the flowers finishes off this pretty card. I know the weather is really hot just about everywhere and I would prefer this to a cooler summer. The kids are having a blast this year in all their beach activities. So if I am just lacking in alittle creativity, well, I can handle it!!! Thanks so much for stopping by today. Hope you are keeping cool!!!

Monday Morning Challenge from LPS
This week I chose two different stamp sets to use on my card. My sentiment is from In Love and my flower is from I Heart. My dp was some scraps on my desk so I am sorry but I cannot share where they are from. All cardstock is SU and my flower is Prima. Want to win a prize this week? One random challenge participant will win a free digi this week. Head on over to the Little Paper Shop blog for all of the deets, to see the sketch and to check out all of the DT samples that were created to inspire you.
So yes we are home from Lake George. We had a wonderful vacation but I have not stopped doing laundry since we got home!!! LOL...really, I feel like Cinderella here with all the work I have been doing. We have three cats and with all three locked up in the house for a week with no one cleaning, well, you can just imagine the fur balls I came home to!! Yuck....but all is good, nice and clean again. Hope you enjoyed the card today. Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Calling Nurse Jena Calling Nurse Jena
Okay I am about freaking out right now cause I am up in the Adirondack Mountains in Lake George vacationing and I was soooooooooo close to not being able to get an internet connection. It was sooooooo hard to figure out how to get on line but I am here and that is all that counts.....
Todays preview is for Nurse Jena from Little Paper Shop and this was such a fun card for me to make because I shared the deets with my dd and she helped me. She loves Jena cards and we had alot of fun creating this one together. I started by stamping Nurse Jena onto white cardstock and cutting her out. I propped her up with dimensionals. My dp is from Pink Paislee and I added alittle fun with a faux corkboard to clip my prescription to. How adorable!!! And how adorable this stamp set is. A MUST have!!!!
Want to win a prize??? Check out all the deets on the Little Paper Shop Blog and while you are there you can see all the fabulous previews from the rest of the DT. Have a great night!!!! Back to my regularly scheduled vacation!!!!

Young at Heart Preview
For todays card I wanted to create a pretty focal panel for the sentiment. I used a very simple layout with some SU paper. I added a gorgeous prima flower with a bit of So Saffron ribbon behind it and then added a few tiny pearls in the corner. This particular card is more feminine but I have to say that the sentiments in this set can be used for men and women!!
As always when we have previews there is a fun random prize to be given away for all commenters. Take a look at the Little Paper Shop Blog for all the particulars and to find the list of DT members that you can visit.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I will be back again tomorrow for another goodie to share with you.

Razzleberry, Olive Orchids
This is the gorgeous color challenge we have for you at Little Paper Shop this week. Razzleberry, Olive and Orchid. What a fun combination!!! Love it. And I went out on a limb this week and pulled out my watercolor paper and reinkers and tryed my hand at watercoloring these gorgeous flowers and leaves from the set Rose. Now I am not sure if I love what I created. I dont have alot of experience with watercoloring but I thought it would be something fun to try. What do you think? For some further inspiration and to check out the prize you can win this week, go over to the Little Paper Shop Blog to check out what the rest of the DT has created and while you are there, please welcome our newest guest DT members, Sparkle and Joy!!! They are super talented and I just know they will have something awesome for you to see!! Welcome Girls!!!
I am actually posting this on the fourth of July. What great weather we have had over this holiday weekend. We have bbq'ed, indulged in some fine wine, spent days at the beach, rode our bikes on the boardwalk and just had a great time with family and friends. I hope you did too!!
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day!!

A sketch for you to do!!
Okay so I am feeling a little guilty over today's sketch challenge over at the Little Paper Shop Blog. I got alittle flustered when I saw the sketch (thanks Allison!!) and I did not read correctly so obviously I did not follow it to a T. But a sketch is inspiration right? And it inspired me to create this cute card with the newly released Bathing Tyson image.
For this card I rummaged through some scraps of Cosmo Cricket to find the perfect boy paper. I must admit that alot of my paper is very girlie but I think this works well. After I put my card together I realized that I did not embellish at all but you know what? Boy cards cant really use a bow or flower can they? So I think I am okay there.
So on a personal note....Kids ended school on Friday and start summer camp programs today. DD made junior lifeguards and both DD and DS will be doing Surf Camp and Beach Vollyball. They are going to be total sand in their sandals kind of kids this summer. In case you did not know, we live at the beach here on Long Island so all of these activities are within walking or bike riding distance on the boardwalk which is so awesome. Then I can ride my bike on the boardwalk to get some exercise. (Did I say exercise??? It sounded weird coming out of my mouth!!!). I am looking forward to this summer break.
So head on over to the Little Paper Shop Blog where you can check out Allisons Sketch and see all of the amazing samples that the rest of my dear DT Sistahs created.
I would like to say goodbye to our three guest designers who have been with us at Little Paper Shop for the past few months. Your work will be missed and I will be sure to check out your blogs often.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a fantastic day!!

MTSC79
I have such a hard time lately getting cards posted to my blog. I will do a bunch of challenges and then I do not photograph them. I really liked this weeks sketch from Mercy MTSC79 so I jumped on it and look....it is posted before the next challenge on Tuesday.
My image and sentiment are both from Stamping Bella. I colored her with my copics, a spica glitter pen and a glaze pen although you cannot see the shine it is there. All of my paper is October Afternoon and my ribbon is SU. Today I wanted to do alittle something different with my sentiment so I cut it up into three, mounted it onto the Real Red paper and then popped it up onto dimensionals. The red paper is crooked on purpose. I thought it looked cute this way especially with the whole rag doll, cute as a button thing going on.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope your weekend is ending on a nice note.

TESC117
Oh boy did I have a good time making this card today. You know when it all just falls into place and feels so good??? Yup that was me today. I used Taylors Sketch so of course I had to whip out a set from Taylor too and I have not used my Beary Special set in awhile.
I stamped my cute little guy three times. First on the PTI Cream Cardstock then onto the green paper and then a third time onto the printed paper. Then I paper pieced the little guy all together. My dp is all from October Afternoon. Buttons are from PTI, ribbon is SU and my flower is prima.
So tell me....what does everyone have planned to keep the kidlets busy for the summer??? Anything fun and exciting?? I am trying to piece together my kids activities for the summer spending as little money as I can. It is just not easy to find fun activities for them without mortgaging the house!!! So does anyone out there have anything interesting lined up??? Would love to know...
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a fantastic one!!

Boy do we have a super fun color challenge for you today over at Little Paper Shop. RED-YELLOW-BLUE.....Doesn't it just scream fun!!!
I started today by stamping my image from I Heart onto some So Saffron paper in Enchanted Evening Ink and cut it out with my Labels Nesties. Then I created some fun layers with Red Riding Hood, So Saffron and Enchanted Evening cardstock and a fun layer of cork board. On my red panel I stamped the background stamp Behind the Scenes to create some dp. Then to round things off I created one of these FUN new paper flowers that everyone is making. I found the tutorial here, and then I added some daisy ribbon I had in stash. Embellished it with some blue pearls in the center and I am done done done!!!
We would love for you to come and play along with us this week. As always, there is a fun random prize to be given away and some great eye candy for inspiration on the Little Paper Shop Blog.

You Rock!!!
Okay I have to post this before Karen posts tomorrows new Sunday Sketch. I have had this card made for a few days but I am getting really lazy about taking pictures. The weather is gorgeous, we have been hanging with friends and well I have not wanted to be in the house. I want to enjoy the weather!!! But last weeks sketch from Karen was so perfect that I had to play along. Her sketches rock. This one is SSSC71
For my card I used a cute new image that I had not inked up yet from Claudia and Company. How sweet is he with that little puppy!!! I colored with my copics and cut out with oval nesties. My dp is all October Afternoon. Then I finished things off with some really cute ribbon from Making Memories and a fun big button from my stash. Oh and a few chocolate pearls in the corners. Hope you like it!!!
I hope you are all enjoying some good weather and a fun weekend. Thanks so much for stopping by today!!!

Adding to my Thank You Collection
Lindsay will be graduating elementary school in a few weeks and I have been creating lots of thank you cards to give out. She wants to give a card to every teacher she has had. So thank you's I make.....This card today uses two cute images from CC Designs. The fence is one image and the little Pixie is the second. I masked off the Swiss Pixie in order to stamp the fence and make her look like she is sitting on top of it. I wont go into deets here how to do this but if you are curious, please let me know and I will fill ya in.
My image was colored with copics, a spica pen and a glaze pen. My cardstock is all SU and my dp is from Basic Grey. I cut the squares and circles out with my nesties and then around the scalloped edge of the circle I added some Tiny Twinkles. I kept this one simple cause the image panel is so large.
Thanks so much for taking a peek. Have a great day!!!-----Ann
