Still Alive Here!!

Just wanted to pop in and let everyone know that I am still alive over here. Thanks so much to everyone for your Get Well Wishes!! Not only did I have a whopping head cold this week but we had a sewage backup in our basement (which is a finished basement so yuk!!) but then to top it all off, today we went downstairs to another flood. We thought omg our sewage is backing up again but no it could not be that simple. Our hot water heater was spewing water all over the place and it was flooding the basement again!! So now we need to replace the hot water heater too. Boy when it rains it pours, and it has literally been raining here for 40 days and 40 nights!!! You cant imagine how gloomy it has been with all the rain we have been getting. Right now all of Long Island is under a flood watch for the next 24 hours....BUT, I am feeling so much better and the kids are happy as can be so what more could a girl ask for? (maybe some crafting time would be good LOL). Hopefully I will be back later or tomorrow with something new to share with everyone. Bye for now.

Ann

Glad to hear you're feeling better. There's nothing worse than a head cold, unless your sewer backs up and the hot water tank leaks. OMG! Hopefully that covers your bad luck for the rest of the year. Wil look forward to a card soon. {{{hugs}}}

You had the sewage backup and then hot water to clean that up! That's a good thing. I'm glad your feeling better!

Blessings,
