New Goodies for FBW!!
So many new goodies went into the making of this weeks Flutterby Wednesday card which by the way is an open challenge. Just use a butterfly, fairy or angel. So anyway my image is from this months Unity KOTM. I stamped it onto choice cream cardstock and colored it with my copics and then added some new Plum vintage buttons from PTI which coordinate with my new Plum cardstock and ribbon. My dp was picked up at my lss and if I remember correctly it is Basic Grey. Last but not least, my sentiment is from the newly released set from Little Paper Shop called Everyday. Gotta love new goodies!!!
Take a look at the FBW blog for more info on this weeks challenge and come play along with us!!!
On a personal note, I had my first dress fitting today and even though I have been eating EVERYTHING in site (nerves) my dress looked great and I am so excited. We bought my son his suit and now have to have that taylored. Met with the dj today to go over the video montage and met with a good friend of mine who is going to make my jewelry to match my dress. So everything is falling into place. April 17th is coming real fast!!! I wish I can invite all of you to join us for the big day. I will have plenty of pictures to share.
On another personal note, I was copic certified this past weekend. Very exciting!!! We had a great class and had alot of fun learning some very interesting facts about copics.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!!!

LPSC60
Monday Monday!!! That means another fantastic challenge from the Little Paper Shop. This weeks challenge, LPSC60 was issued to us in the form of a sketch from our very own, uber talented Allison. The sketch can be found here, along with some fantastic samples from the rest of the DT to stir your creative juices.
Now I have to be honest when saying that this sketch really kicked my butt. I just could not wrap my brain around the TRUE lines of the sketch so as you can see I just interpreted it for you today. I started with a scalloped circle of black cardstock and then added a scalloped circle of dp from Basic Grey and my background paper is Basic Grey also. The sentiment that I used today is from the newly released set called Everyday. I am LOVING this new set. Then I added some ribbon and a few black crystals that I bought at Michaels. If you get a chance to play along this week with the sketch and we certainly hope that you do, then you can be in the running for the stamp set, Topiary.
So I am in the final weeks before my sons Bar Mitzvah and I am all consumed with it as you can imagine and probably figured due to my lack of crafting and posting here on my blog. It just amazes me how many tiny details are going into the planning of this party. This is actually bigger than my own wedding!!!! So please bear with me and my absence. I so miss my crafting desk and I actually have a ton of new goodies to play with.

Hop along with LPS
When I saw this new set that the Little Paper Shop DT is previewing today I was thrilled because every sentiment is super special. You will love EVERY last one of them. I especially loved the one I am using today. "To the world you may just be one person but to one person you may be the world". I made this card for my DH because I wanted him to know just how special he is.
Our challenge today at Little Paper Shop was to use something old. LPSC59. Well being I was making a masculine card, I turned to some old SU paper that I love and have not used in forever. Along with our challenge and Preview of this new set called "Everyday", we are having a super fun blog hop for you to enjoy. I am hoping you have visited me via Heather and that you have had a chance to leave comments along the way. After me you will head over to see Julia where you will continue to hop along and back to the LPS Blog where you should leave a comment that you finished the hop and commented along the way. Then you will be in the running for the set that is being released tomorrow called "Everyday". You have another chance to win a prize by playing along with our "something old" challenge LPSC59. The prize for this will be the set "Take Time". So go hop along and if you get lost along the way, just start at the LPS Blog which will direct you to the list of hoppers.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and enjoy the blog hop we have put together for you today!!!

Apple Lily Preview at LPS
I am so excited to bring you this months previews at Little Paper Shop. These images that owner Julia puts out keep getting cuter and sweeter EVERY month!! Today the DT and I are previewing "Apple Lily" for you. It will be released this Tuesday and can I just say that this is a must have set for your collection. Who can resist this sweet little Lily holding an apple with her cute apple skirt...and all of the sentiments with this set, as you can imagine, one is sweeter than the next. Dare I say sweeter than an apple!!!
Head on over to the Little Paper Shop blog and check out what the rest of the DT has created for you and while you are there, leave a comment so you can be in the running for this amazing new set from Little Paper Shop.
On a personal note, my sons Bar Mitzvah is now only one month away and you can just imagine the crunch time that is going on here....I am completely overwhelmed and have started to shed a tear or two with frustration. Lindsay and I did FINALLY find dresses. Here is a pic of mine except it will be in chocolate brown and I am having it cut to cocktail length. Do you like?? It is one of these dresses that is very forgiving on the figure so it looks fantastic on.
Well I will keep you posted on the comings and goings of the Bar Mitzvah and I will be back tomorrow with another preview for Little Paper Shop. Thanks for stopping by today.

Wish Big
Had a chance to play around today with a PI girl from MFT. Now I started out with last weeks SCS sketch and somehow this is what I came up with. This card just morphed if you KWIM!!! But I do like the final result.
My image is stamped onto Xpress Blend It Paper and colored with copics. I added a ton of crystal stickels to her wings and her wand. My paper is a mix of Girls Paperie and Echo Park and cardstock is kraft and Pink Pirouette with a pink pirouette bow and some pink brads.
Gotta go catch up on some American Idol. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!!!

Happy 100th Danni!!!!
Happy 100th FBW Danni!!! I am so very happy for you and how far FBW has come and I am so proud to be a part of this team. As you can tell, we have all made you FBW Flutterby Boxes thanks to the wonderful and kind idea from Karen, and I chose to decorate my box with your initial and blinged it out. I hope you like it. I worked with a green and brown palate today. Not your typical Flutterby colors but my daughter did not want me to use "typical" butterfly colors so she chose these colors for you!!
Have yourself a fantastic day Danni and I hope you are fluttering by for another 100 challenges!!! You are a super fantastic person and I am so glad to have been able to get to know you and work with you.
HUGS to you and hugs to everyone who stopped in today to be part of this with Danni. Go and show her some love on her blog!!

I made this card about a week ago and have not had a moment to upload it to blogger but I LOVE how this came out!! Do you just love that sentiment? And isnt it perfect with this super cute Missmatch Ketto from Stamping Bella. What I love even more is this delish paper from October Afternoon and I can just stare at my bow all day!! I am so proud of this bow. I really think it is because I used some awesome ribbon from MFT to make it!! Okay so I am in love with this card what can I say...it happens sometimes....I hope you like it too.

Happy Spring!!
Okay wishful thinking on the Spring bit but I am just longing for some greenery and sunshine so I had to ink up this sweet new PI stamp from MFT and use some happy paper from October Afternoon.
I started by stamping my image twice. Once onto PTI Cream Cardstock and once onto the red and cream gingham paper so I could paper piece this little sweeties dress. The rest of her is colored with my copics. My dp is October Afternoons Farm Fresh and all cardstock is SU. This green ribbon is from MFT also and I just LOVE it as you will see between yesterdays card, todays and one I will post either later or tomorrow. It is really yummy ribbon and makes a great bow. (see yesterdays post). And before I forget, my layout is this weeks Mercys Tuesday Sketch. MTSC62.
So yes we are getting slammed with a ton of snow. My dh had to go into the office this morning so I needed to get out there and shovel and let me tell you, I need to make an appt to work on my arms because when I was finished my arms were like jelly!! I dont work out my arms but I really thought that with all the grocery bags I can carry at once I was working SOME muscle but I am sadly mistaken!!! I think I need to do curls with those grocery bags!!! Does anyone else have arm excercises that work? Please share if you do!!
Thanks so much for visiting me today. I love the company especially on a snowy day like today!! Enjoy...

A Flower for You
Wow well I have been sitting on fresh rubbah from Stamping Bella for over a month now and I am just getting a chance to ink some of them up!! This sweet little guy is called Turtle Tots Picking Posies!! Ohhhhhh how ca-ute is he!!! I just love that mouthless face....I started by stamping my sweet image onto PTI cardstock and cut it out with my circle nesties. I colored with my copics and mounted the circles onto a Label 1 nestie. All cardstock today is SU and my dp is Cosmo Cricket. Then I finished things off with some gorgeous ribbon that I purchased from MFT and a few flat back pearls. I just love this card today!!! Hope you enjoy it too!
We are bracing again here in NY for another storm. This one is supposed to last for 2 days and the snow amounts vary drastically depending on where you live. I think we will only get about 6 inches here on the South Shore of Long Island but inland they are going to get hammered and I feel soooo bad for anyone in that area!! It is getting crazy with the amount of snow some people are getting!!! I feel for you all!!
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great one!!

Taylored FBW
This layout has been kicking my butt since Taylor posted it on Friday TESC101. I knew what stamp I wanted to use and knew that I would use it as my FBW challenge card as well but the layout was just not working for me and honestly I am not sure it's even working now!! LOL. But here it is and I hope you like it!! I used Taylors stamp called Discover your wings and I stamped it with Versamark onto Soft Suede Cardstock and then heat embossed with clear EP. My dp is from Taylors key ingredients called Winnies Wall and the rest of my cardstock is Prism. I sponged all edges with vintage photo and added some pearls and a ribbon knot. Actually now that I am looking at this picture, the buttercream yellow color looks alittle washed out too. Oh well....cant love them all!! What I do love however is my new watermark that I purchased from Karen Giron. She does cute watermarks at a great price and is super fast.
So FBW today is an open challenge which means you can use anything with a butterfly, angel or fairy. Go check out the deets at the FBW blog and come and play along with us!!
Thanks so much for stopping in today. I know the weather everywhere is just lousy so lets all hunker down and just stay warm and cozy!!

February week 4 Verve!!
Thanks so much for taking a look!! I hope you like it. I am trying to learn how to put paper patterns together that dont always "match" but that "go" together as they say on "What not to wear". It does not always have to be matchy matchy but go together. I am a matchy matchy girl and I am trying to break that habit. So keep me posted and let me know in coming days if I am succeeding or failing the look!!! OMG the stress of it all!! LOL

Krafty Chocolaty Kiwi!!
Kraft, Chocolate and Kiwi....those are our challenge colors over at Little Paper Shop this week and I must admit it WAS a real challenge for me too. The Kraft kept throwing me but I really do like how this turned out and it is so easy to like it with the awesome two sets that I used from Little Paper Shop.
I stamped my balloon from the {I Heart}set twice. Once onto white cardstock and once onto my dp so I could paper piece the balloon. Then I colored the basket with my copics. All of my DP is SU as is my cardstock and my sentiment is from the {Moments} set. OMG you HAVE to check out this set. The sentiments are PERFECT. One more heartfelt than the next. Then for todays card, I used Mercys Tuesday Sketch MTSC61.
The prize that you can randomly win this week for taking on the challenge is Floral Frenzy. Just upload your card with keyword LPSC56, we will find you and you will be entered into the random drawing. Good luck, have a good time and thanks so much for stopping by today!!!

Hangin in with FWF at Unity
Guess what I received this week? My February Unity KOTM and I am once again blown away by the adorable and heartfelt images and sentiments that are part of this kit. I signed up again for Unitys Friends with Flair Friday so I had an opportunity to use my new stamps AND I paired it with my newly acquired Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety paper. MMMMM this paper is yummy!!! So fresh, just like a garden full of vegetables!!! How is that for Spring like thoughts!!!
I stamped my image onto PTI Cream Cardstock and colored with my copics and cut out my image with my square nesties. I told you about the dp, and all cardstock is SU. Then I finished things off with a few brads, a crocheted flower with a prima in the center and some linen thread.
So now about this FWF....what you want to do is start at the beginning and hop through all the FWF participants to find the Unity Blinkie. When you find the Blinkie, leave a comment on that blog and you will be in the running for a slew of Unity Stamps. How fun is that!!! If you have been hopping along then Ky is next on the hop.
Thanks so much for stopping by!! Hope you have some great plans for the weekend. ENJOY!!

A Verve Inspired FBW
Here today is my Verve Challenge meets FBW Challenge card. Lots going on here. For FBW the challenge this week is to use hearts on our FBW card and for Verve I followed their week three sketch which can be found here. It is also very rare that I use purples on my cards but I was inspired by this picture over at Verve too.
I started by stamping my image and sentiment from Verves Loves Flower onto Pale Plum cardstock and cut it out with my square nesties. My DP was from a TE Key Ingredients pack and I am not sure whose paper it is. My butterfly is Verves Fluttering By and I stamped it twice onto the Pale Plum and cut them out and added some black stones. My center green panel was cut out with my Blossom nesties and embellished with black stones. Then I added a few hearts to the already existing hearts in the image and a few onto the corner of the image panel. I happen to LOVE how this came out considering it is purple!!!
So you have a chance to play along with us this week at FBW and there is blog candy involved this week also. Go and check out the details on the FBW Blog. While you are surfing around please go and leave our sponsor, Susanas, some love too. I have bought from Susana on more than one occasion and I have to say that her customer service is top notch and she carries just so many items you are guaranteed to fall in love with her store!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Preview Day Two with LPSC55
Preview day two over at Little Paper Shop and today we are showing you a super sweet new set called Tweet Wishes Lucy along with our normal Monday challenge to use distressing on your project. How adorable is this little cutie?? Don't you just love that little bow and birdie. What great little touches.
I chose to paper piece my little Lucy with October Afternoon paper along with using October Afternoon on my back panel. I distressed all edges with my scissor by rubbing the edges along the blade. I really need to invest in a distressing tool. It is about the only tool I do not own. My cardstock is all SU as is the ribbon and then I added the reddish brown button with linen thread and the tiny clip which is holding on my sentiment. The tiny clip is from Tim Holtz.
So I hope you will come and play along with our distressing challenge this week. Just upload your card with keyword LPSC55 and you will be in the running for this cute new set. This set and the one I previewed yesterday will be for sale at Little Paper Shop tomorrow (Tuesday). You dont want to miss out on these great new sets!!! To see more creations with this set, hop over to the Little Paper Shop Blog and check out the rest of the DT.
