I had a bit of time after the parade today to do a little crafting and I was able to wrap myself around 3 challenges. Yay me!!
My first card today is for Joannes Sketch Challenge plus three. Although I did not complete it in time to be in the running for the blog candy it was still a fun challenge to work with. This is the sketch and I chose to use gingham paper, printed paper, ledger paper and kraft paper as my choices. My image is a Penny Black image that I purchased at Stampers Dream. I colored it with my copics. My dp is October Afternoon and all cardstock is SU.
My second card is for Mercys Tuesday Sketch which can be found here. MTSC75. I used a cute image I just purchased from MFT called Little Loveasauras. How adorable is this little guy. Obviously he is paper pieced. I actually did a few layers so that I could make the spine a different color but I am not happy with the thickness of the layers. The dp I used for this one is Basic Grey and MME and all cardstock is SU, and the last challenge I accomplished today was Taylors Sketch Challenge. TESC115. For this card I pulled out some more MFT goodness and used the brand new WTG Goes Green. This set just makes me happy!! I did some paper piecing and coloring with my copics. My dp is MME, all cardstock is SU and I finished things off with some antique brads from SU. So yes, I had a busy afternoon crafting and it felt GREAT!!!
