Whimsical Greetings

Hey Everyone!! Like I mentioned yesterday, I was so lucky to have won this fabulous new stamp set from the Greeting Farm and Jessica from the Whimsical Butterfly. It is such a sweet set and the sentiments are perfect for so many occasions. Here today is another card I made with the set. My dsp is from Making Memories, the Chloe stack. I have to say, alot of times I will buy a stack of paper only to use a few of the sheets in the pack but this Chloe set, I have just about sucked down every last sheet in there. It has been my all time favorite stack of paper. My cardstock is Pumpkin Pie, Brocade Blue and Very Vanilla and Barely Banana (or was it Apricot Appeal????) . I stamped my butterfly with Pumpkin Pie and then embellished it with my spica glitter pen which you probably cannot see but it looks very pretty. My sentiment was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black. Silver Baubles are from Stamping Bella and ribbon is from Michaels.

Well today is a bit relaxing. My company is still here, but they went into the city today to visit with others so I have a moment to tidy up and get some food shopping and laundry done for my Lake George Trip next week. We are leaving on Saturday and of course I do not have a thing ready. We have been making this trip for the past ten years so it is just second nature to me already. Of course I always say I will not bring as much but that never happens. The ONLY thing that I have started to organize and make a list about is my crafting supplies and what I will be bringing with me!! A girl has priorities ya know!! LOL. So if you have read down this far, I am curious what would be some of your crafting staples be to go away on vacation for a week!! I just wonder what all of you CANT live without.

Have a fantastic day. Thanks so much for stopping by.

VERY pretty card, Ann. Glad that today is a little relaxing for you.

As far as what I'd take with me well that's tough because I, too, am an overpacker. When I don't have anything planned though I at least take my markers & stamped out images with me - that way I can color.

Love this card, Ann! I'm no help for packing supplies for a trip. I would imagine I'd take some stamped images and my copics. :O)

Hugs,
Lelia

This is jaw-droppingly STUNNING!!!! WOW! I am SO glad you won this set, can I tell you?! You are doing amazing things with it and I am so honored that you have created such beautiful things! Thank you so much for that!

Hmm...yes Copics, and pre-stamped images are how I survive trips. Sometimes I even cut them out w/ my nesties and then bring a few mats for them too so I don[t have to drag the Big Shot w/ me LOL! Good luck!

Super cute card!! Love that paper!! I tend to over pack, so I don't think I would be much help. Seriously, if I could pack it all, I would...I hate not having what I need or want when I need or want it!!
