Here's to You!!
I went on a shopping spree this holiday. Purchased stamps from practically every vendor that I follow. This ala mode stamp called Cheers I purchased from MFT. Dont you just love her!!! I think she is so much fun and I want to create invitations to a party with her. She would just work so well!! For this card I stamped her twice. Once onto the white PTI Cardstock and once onto the yellow patterned paper from Crate Restoration. I paper pieced her dress and colored the rest with copics and added some glaze to the glass for alittle shimmer. I had this ribbon in stash which I also had purchased from MFT and then I created a paper rose flower with my die namics also from MFT. Cardstock is Pacific Point and Daffodil. Then for my sentiment I just created alittle tag with my scissors. I am really pleased with the way this came out.
Hubby is feeling alot better after his three operations. Just being back home is helping him so much and I am so thrilled to have him back home. We missed him so much!!! So now I play Nurse Ann for awhile which is fine with me!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a great day!!!

Being cute is what I do
Being cute is what I do!!! Is that the most adorable sentiment for this cutie!! I just love it!! This Pure Innocence is from MFT and I stamped her onto PTI Cream Cardstock. I paper pieced her shirt and colored the rest of her with my copics. I cut her out with oval nesties. My cardstock is all from PTI as is my ribbon and my dp is Pixie-Licious from Cosmo Cricket.
So as you all know my kids are away this week and today I was TOTALLY BORED!!! Can you imagine. I made one card, cleaned a corner of my upstairs hallway, exercised and then twiddled my thumbs for the rest of the day. I hated it!! Tomorrow I am planning a trip to my LSS, which is not really so local so it will take up part of my day. I need some new copics (yes I said need!!). So I will be back tomorrow to share with you the goodies that I purchase.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day!!!

Ahoy There!!!
I am just loving my new stamps. Today I am using a new image from The Cats Pajamas called A Whale of a Time. Isnt he just the sweetest thing? I also followed Mercys Tuesday Sketch MTSC86 for this one.
I started by stamping my whale image twice. Once onto cardstock and once onto the blue printed paper and I cut both of them out and glued them together. That way I was able to mount my whale onto the background cardstock and make his tale look like it is moving a bit off the paper. Can you see that? I hope so cause it looks so cute in person....My dp is a combo of Togetherness and Pixie Licious from Cosmo Cricket. I created a scallop border on my cork with my Die Namics from MFT. Then to embellish I added a big fun bow, a few brads and a few tiny twinkles. I need to go back to The Cats Pajamas and purchase the wave cut ups. I think it would have made a huge difference in this card.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a fantastic day!!!

Paper Sickness and LPS DT Call!!!
Hi and welcome. I made this card the other day as an entry for the MFT Guest DT spot. Well unfortunately it was not the winner this time but I sure enjoyed making it. You need to go check out the winners entry. It was awesome!!!!
So for this card today I pulled out some older Basic Grey paper. I know we all say this, but it is sinful how much paper I have and don't use. And I just ordered all of the new Cosmo pads yesterday. It is such a sickeness!! LOL. Back to my card.....I used this very sweet Flopsey image from MFT because the theme was flowers so I kind of figured he was very appropriate. I colored him with my copics twice (only the flowers) and cut out a set of flowers to pop up. I cut out two blossom nesties. One in hunter green and one in so saffron and ran the saffron panel through the cuttlebug. I then rolled three different sized flowers and added a pearl to the center of them. The leaves were cut from my SU leaf die. I really love how this came out and I am looking forward to sending it to someone special.
So on another note, Little Paper Shop is looking for 2 new DT Members. All of the deets can be found here but hurry the call is until August 20th so get your entries into Pam right away!!! Good Luck!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting. Have a great day!!!

Some more yummy goodness from MFT
I told you I was on a crafty roll this past weekend!!! Found this fun Imaginese (?) paper in my stash and knew Millie the Mouse from MFT would be perfect with it. I paired it off with some polka dot paper from Cosmo Cricket. Millie is so much fun to paper piece. Cant you just feel her joy!!! I cut her out with circle nesties and cut the polka dot paper out with my labels nesties. Then to finish things off I used some red ribbon, brads in the top corner and a metal swirled flower from SU.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope this card made you smile today!!!

Feel Better
I got real crafty this past weekend. The temperature outside was perfect so my craft room cooled off alot. I pulled out some stamps that had not been inked up yet and was so surprised to find this Pure Innocence girl from MFT was among them. I always had visions of paper piecing her and her umbrella so I pulled out some cheerful paper from My Minds Eye and got to work. I actually stamped her three times. Once for her coat and boots. Once for the pink in the umbrella and once for the polka dots in the umbrella. Then I colored the rest of her with my copics. She is cut out with circle nesties and mounted on a blossom cut out. All cardstock is SU and so is my ribbon. Flower was in my stash. I love this little cutie and speaking of cuties, have you seen some of the sneak peaks for this weeks MFT release???? OMG.....I will be spending a ton this week!!!! Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope you have a great day!!!!

3 Challenge cards to show you!!
I had a bit of time after the parade today to do a little crafting and I was able to wrap myself around 3 challenges. Yay me!!
My first card today is for Joannes Sketch Challenge plus three. Although I did not complete it in time to be in the running for the blog candy it was still a fun challenge to work with. This is the sketch and I chose to use gingham paper, printed paper, ledger paper and kraft paper as my choices. My image is a Penny Black image that I purchased at Stampers Dream. I colored it with my copics. My dp is October Afternoon and all cardstock is SU.
So yes, I had a busy afternoon crafting and it felt GREAT!!! Have a great week and thanks so much for stopping by!!

ABC's with SSSC70
Quick post as I am preparing for company tomorrow...BBQ at my house.....I went to the supermarket at 8:30 this morning to avoid the crowds and being I wanted to get out of there quickly I wound up over buying (surprise surprise as my husband would say being I always over buy food for a party.)
I made this cute little card last weekend for Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch SSSC70. The whole swirl thing was throwing me off because it did not work with my baby themed card but the sketch inspired me so this is what I created.
I used my Bling Bet set from MFT. I stamped the letters with Tim Holtz ink and then used green stickles for the dots. My dp is as old as the hills but I think it is DCWV. My white glittery letters are Thickers that I picked up at my LSS and then I stamped the Congratulations sentiment onto a Spellbinders tag and looped through some bashful blue ribbon on the end. All cardstock is SU.
Well I am off to marinate some Shish Kabob....Have a great day and thanks for stopping by today.

Made this for last Fridays Taylored Expressions Sketch TESC113.
I started by stamping my image from Taylored Expressions CreativiTEA onto PTI Cardstock and colored with my copics. My dp is from MME Lush. All cardstock is SU. My scalloped edge was made with my new die-namics die from MFT and I finished things off with three little green buttons that I embellished with tiny pearls.
I love the way this one came out. Hope you do too.

Happy Spring!!
Okay wishful thinking on the Spring bit but I am just longing for some greenery and sunshine so I had to ink up this sweet new PI stamp from MFT and use some happy paper from October Afternoon.
I started by stamping my image twice. Once onto PTI Cream Cardstock and once onto the red and cream gingham paper so I could paper piece this little sweeties dress. The rest of her is colored with my copics. My dp is October Afternoons Farm Fresh and all cardstock is SU. This green ribbon is from MFT also and I just LOVE it as you will see between yesterdays card, todays and one I will post either later or tomorrow. It is really yummy ribbon and makes a great bow. (see yesterdays post). And before I forget, my layout is this weeks Mercys Tuesday Sketch. MTSC62.
So yes we are getting slammed with a ton of snow. My dh had to go into the office this morning so I needed to get out there and shovel and let me tell you, I need to make an appt to work on my arms because when I was finished my arms were like jelly!! I dont work out my arms but I really thought that with all the grocery bags I can carry at once I was working SOME muscle but I am sadly mistaken!!! I think I need to do curls with those grocery bags!!! Does anyone else have arm excercises that work? Please share if you do!!
Thanks so much for visiting me today. I love the company especially on a snowy day like today!! Enjoy...

A Flower for You
Wow well I have been sitting on fresh rubbah from Stamping Bella for over a month now and I am just getting a chance to ink some of them up!! This sweet little guy is called Turtle Tots Picking Posies!! Ohhhhhh how ca-ute is he!!! I just love that mouthless face....I started by stamping my sweet image onto PTI cardstock and cut it out with my circle nesties. I colored with my copics and mounted the circles onto a Label 1 nestie. All cardstock today is SU and my dp is Cosmo Cricket. Then I finished things off with some gorgeous ribbon that I purchased from MFT and a few flat back pearls. I just love this card today!!! Hope you enjoy it too!
We are bracing again here in NY for another storm. This one is supposed to last for 2 days and the snow amounts vary drastically depending on where you live. I think we will only get about 6 inches here on the South Shore of Long Island but inland they are going to get hammered and I feel soooo bad for anyone in that area!! It is getting crazy with the amount of snow some people are getting!!! I feel for you all!!
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great one!!

Sending you Smiles SC252
Hi Everyone. Thursday is finally here and we are counting down to Halloween. I just need to put the finishing touches on my daughters 80's Diva Costume aka Madonna although she does not realize this like I do. We are looking at some warmer weather for Saturday so Trick or Treating will not be uncomfortable. We will be going to two seperate sections of our town so the kids should have alot of fun!! Any one doing anything special for Halloween?
For todays card I used the SCS sketch challenge of the week SC252 with my Spread a Harvest of Hope stamp from MFT. The stamp made the image panel bigger than what it was supposed to be but I think it works well. I stamped my image onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock from Taylored Expressions and colored with my copics and then added some crystal stickles to the centers of the daisy type flower. My colored cardstock is all SU and my dp is SU Bella Birds. I did a bunch of sewing around my panels but please dont look too close because I did not have such a steady hand and then I finished my card off with a paper prima, button and some linen thread. My sentiment is also from MFT Hooga Booga Set.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a fantastic day and I am getting used to a new Blog Hopping Schedule on my PC so I will be making my way around more often now until my laptop gets fixed.

Harvest of Hope
I received a few new stamps in from MFT and some new My Minds Eye paper from a vendor on ebay and I just had to pair the two together. I stamped my image onto PTI cardstock and colored with my copics. My dp is MME Oooh la la for her. My cardstock is SU and Prism. I am really trying to make the full switch to Prism but I am having a tough time with it. I am such a creature of habit I guess and I know my SU cardstock so well it is hard to make paper decisions with the prism. I need to always be using my swatch book and that thing is HUGE!! But the prism offers such a WIDE variety of colors and my lss carries it so I just have to do this already right??
So back to my card. I then finished off with a simple bow, prima flower and green button with linen thread. Easy peasy today.
Thanks a bunch for stopping by. Have a great one and I hope you are enjoying your day.

Once upon a time....

Hi All! Made this card using last weeks SCS sketch SC239 found here.
I stamped my adorable Flopsey image from MFT onto PTI White Cardstock and colored with my copics. Then I used some delicious dp that I found at Michaels from MME the Bohemia Collection. Yummy paper!! It matched SU's Riding Hood Red and Baja Breeze cardstock to a T which are the colors used. I did some piercing around the two center panels and cut the border of the main panel with my fiskars border punch, treading water. I used SU's Baja Breeze ribbon and topped it with a red button finished off with Linen Thread from SU. Simple simple. This card is going out to a good friend of mine and I hope she loves it!!
Hope you are all staying cool or dry or wet or whatever will make you comfy in the weather in your neck of the woods!! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fantastic day!!

A Little Snuggle
This card I made today reminds me on my daughter. Every night she climbs into bed with me before she goes to sleep because she "has" to snuggle. And boy does she ever. She gets right up next to you and pretty much holds you for dear life!! She loves the coziness and I cant say that I mind very much!! She is 10 and I know it wont last forever so I take it while I can. Speaking of getting older, the other day she packed away ALL of her American Girl Dolls and all of their clothes. She is done playing with dolls which is sad for me considering I sell American Girl Doll Clothes!!So I made my card with an adorable set from MFT called Snuggle Bunnies which you can find here. I colored the image with my copics and cut it out with a circle nestie and mounted it on a larger Certainly Celery Circle. My dp is from DCWV Nanna's Nursery Girl. My layout is this Mondays MOJO Sketch. I used certainly celery ribbon, a prima flower, SU brad and made my certainly celery leaves with my die from SU called Little Leaves. I just love how this came out!! Those little SHNUGS as my daughter would say!!
Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope you have a fantastic day!!

Scoops of love
Hi Everyone. As soon as I saw this cute little image from Stamping Bella I knew I had the perfect sentiment for it. Her name is Amplee Tude. Love her long brown hair. I put this card together late the other night so there is not along of embellies going on. I colored my image with my copics and cut her out with my oval nesties. My dp is from the Summer Pack over at MFT. I used two different border punches from Martha Stewart and finished it off with some American Crafts Ribbon. Simple and sweet. I hope you like her.Well that is it for me today. I have to get back to cleaning because I am getting company over the weekend and I am doing alittle bit each day to get ready.
Have a fantastic day and thanks so much for stopping by to say Hi!!

Precious Girl
Okay, now I just cant figure out if I LOVE or HATE this card. I love the image that was RAK'd to me. It was alot of fun to color but then the red, teal and black???? Hmmmm I am just not sure. I am not usually such a bold color person. What do you think? So like I said, the image was rak'd to me so of course I do not know anything about this sweet little image but I love it. She was colored with my copics and then cut out with my Rectangle Nesties. My dsp is from MFT Summer Pack and my cardstock is SU and DCWV. Border punches are Fiskars and Martha Stewart. Brads and ribbon were from stash.
So please, if you have nice weather by you, please send it my way. We had rain ALL last week, a nice weekend and we are getting rain all this week too. I dont even feel like doing laundry and I do that everyday!! UGGG it is depressing. The good news for the day is that I have a wedding to go to on Friday night and the dress I am wearing is my old size and I am able to fit into it!! Whoo Hoo. Now I want a dress in a SMALLER size. Soon soon I keep telling myself. Slow baby steps.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have yourself a fantastic night.

A Challenge with Thanks!!
Hi All!! I made this card today for a duel purpose. To do the Sketch Challenge #231 over at SCS and I needed a thank you card that I could send in the mail. Well I saw the challenge and thought that it would be a simple enough card that I could just send it out but I just can't make a flat card. I started to and then just had to add the brads and ribbon. So off to the post office I will go to mail this out to my friend. For this card I used my MFT Bundles of Bouquets again. I just love this set. I stamped my image onto PTI Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with my copics. My dp is Madeline from K & Company. The cardstock I used was Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze and Kiwi Kiss. My border punches used were MS Arch Lattice and Fiskars. Ribbon is Baja Breeze and brads were in stash. Oh and my linen thread is from SU also.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope you are having a great night!!
