Boo'ing you with SSSC84

When I saw Karen Girons Sweet Sunday Sketch this week, SSSC84, I knew exactly what I wanted to create. Skipping Stones Design has this adorable Halloween stamp set called Halloweenie and it includes this sweet little poem on my card today,  that you can send to a friend with goodies, anonymously. I created a bunch of them in kind of like an ATC format for my kids friends and I will go around at the beginning of October and give them out hoping that other people will play along for the month of October.

I started by stamping my poem onto cardstock and then lightly stamping the ghost in the background. Then I stamped the witches hat four times, colored with my copics and cut them out to pop up on dimensionals. My border punch is fiskars and all cardstock is SU. Then I embellished the bottom border with tiny purple crystals. I just love the way these turned out. I now have to go get some goodies and get ready for the October games to begin!!!

Birthday Girl

I created this card for Karen Girons Sweet Sunday Sketch using MFT's Joline stamp called Joline Sweet Spring . I am not sure of the dp name because I was stamping with Jodi when I started this card and used her stash. My ribbon is from MFT and button, linen thread and brads are from stash.

I stamped Joline twice. Once on my PTI cream cardstock and once on the dp so that I could paper piece her dress. I masked off her legs and stamped the flowers around her feet and then colored them with my copics as well as the rest of Joline. I love the way Joline came out but I must admit that looking at my card in this picture is making me second guess where I put my sentiment. What do you think??

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a great one!!

ABC's with SSSC70

Quick post as I am preparing for company tomorrow...BBQ at my house.....I went to the supermarket at 8:30 this morning to avoid the crowds and being I wanted to get out of there quickly I wound up over buying (surprise surprise as my husband would say being I always over buy food for a party.)

I made this cute little card last weekend for Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch SSSC70. The whole swirl thing was throwing me off because it did not work with my baby themed card but the sketch inspired me so this is what I created.

I used my Bling Bet set from MFT. I stamped the letters with Tim Holtz ink and then used green stickles for the dots. My dp is as old as the hills but I think it is DCWV. My white glittery letters are Thickers that I picked up at my LSS and then I stamped the Congratulations sentiment onto a Spellbinders tag and looped through some bashful blue ribbon on the end. All cardstock is SU.

Well I am off to marinate some Shish Kabob....Have a great day and thanks for stopping by today.

Thinking of You SSSC67

I have so many cards to show you that I have been busy creating. I just have not had the umph to take the pictures. This is a sweet one I made using Karen Girons Sweet Sunday Sketch SSSC67 from two weeks ago.

I started by stamping this cutie patootie image from CC Designs onto PTI Cardstock and colored with my copics. I used a MS and Fiskars Border punch for the two strips. Did alittle paper piercing and added this gloriously gorgeous flower from Prima. My cardstock is Prism and my dp is October Afternoon.

Have a fantastic Day!!! Thanks so much for stopping by

Sweet Sunday Sketch SSSC66

Hi!! I am finally making my way back to crafting and thought the best way to get going was a good sketch challenge which I found here on Karen's Blog.

I started out by stamping some Unity Images from this months KOTM onto PTI Cardstock and cutting it out with my circle nesties. Then I mounted that onto a blossom cut out from New Leaf cardstock also from PTI. My dp is all MME Quite Contrary and I finished things off with a few Hero Arts Flowers that I colored with my copics, ribbon from PTI and some crystals from Taylored Expressions. Not bad for not having crafted alot in the last few weeks. Boy did it feel good to be back at my desk!!! Not just for obligations.

Thanks so much for stopping in. I will be back tomorrow with my Monday Challenge from Little Paper Shop. It's a good one, you wont want to miss it!!!
