Taylors Friday Sketch
This card was created using last weeks Taylor Sketch. Not yesterdays. TESC123. I pulled out my new Cosmo Paper. Found the yellow and green and thought how perfect would this little pooch from There She Goes called Puppy Love look with these colors. Cardstock is SU. My ribbon is May Arts. Flower is prima and my border punch is fiskars. Then I sewed everything up with my sewing machine which I have not used in AGES. (you can tell too!!!)
I am off to do a TON of laundry. My kids are leaving on Sunday for a week long visit to my Aunt in MA. So I need to clean everything so they can pick what they want to bring. I am alittle nervous about them being gone for a whole week. They have never been away THAT long. I have a ton of crafting to keep me busy but I will sooooo miss them!!!
Okay off I go....thanks for stopping by today. Enjoy your weekend. I hope the weather is as perfect for you as it is here on Long Island.

Love You!!!
Well the temperature finally cooled off enough for me to get into my steambox of a craft room to get alittle something done!! I wanted to work on Taylors Weekly Sketch TESC122 since I have not played along in awhile and believe it or not, I have had this ala carte Turtles in love stamp from Taylor for quite awhile and have not inked it up yet. Shame on me!!!
I started by stamping my image onto PTI Creme cardstock and coloring with my copics. The dp I used came from an older Key Ingredients from Taylor as did all of the cardstock and the ribbon. Then I cut out and twirled alittle flower embellie, added some sugared brads and I am done.
Thanks so much for taking a peek today. I am so hoping to get some more crafting done since the temperature has cooled off a bit. Bear with me...I will be back in full swing. Have a great day!!

TESC117
Oh boy did I have a good time making this card today. You know when it all just falls into place and feels so good??? Yup that was me today. I used Taylors Sketch so of course I had to whip out a set from Taylor too and I have not used my Beary Special set in awhile.
I stamped my cute little guy three times. First on the PTI Cream Cardstock then onto the green paper and then a third time onto the printed paper. Then I paper pieced the little guy all together. My dp is all from October Afternoon. Buttons are from PTI, ribbon is SU and my flower is prima.
So tell me....what does everyone have planned to keep the kidlets busy for the summer??? Anything fun and exciting?? I am trying to piece together my kids activities for the summer spending as little money as I can. It is just not easy to find fun activities for them without mortgaging the house!!! So does anyone out there have anything interesting lined up??? Would love to know...
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a fantastic one!!

3 Challenge cards to show you!!
I had a bit of time after the parade today to do a little crafting and I was able to wrap myself around 3 challenges. Yay me!!
My first card today is for Joannes Sketch Challenge plus three. Although I did not complete it in time to be in the running for the blog candy it was still a fun challenge to work with. This is the sketch and I chose to use gingham paper, printed paper, ledger paper and kraft paper as my choices. My image is a Penny Black image that I purchased at Stampers Dream. I colored it with my copics. My dp is October Afternoon and all cardstock is SU.
So yes, I had a busy afternoon crafting and it felt GREAT!!! Have a great week and thanks so much for stopping by!!

Taylors Sketch with Millie
****Please scroll down form my Little Paper Shop Post!!**
Well Finally, I completed a sketch within the alloted time frame!!! This one is from Taylored Expressions. TESC114. Super fun sketch and with it I used a super adorable new stamp that I just purchased called Millie the Mouse from
MFT. If you cant read the sentiment on the bottom of the ribbon it says "You make me smile" and this little mouse makes me so happy.
I started by stamping Miss Millie onto PTI cardstock and paper piecing her with some delish paper from MME Bloom and Grow. But then again ALL MME paper is delish!!! Then I cut her out with circle and blossom nesties. All cardstock is SU. I finished things off with a fun sheer white ribbon bow topped with a crocheted flower and an orange crystal and I added three tiny orange crystals to the side of the circle.

TESC113
Made this for last Fridays Taylored Expressions Sketch TESC113.
I started by stamping my image from Taylored Expressions CreativiTEA onto PTI Cardstock and colored with my copics. My dp is from MME Lush. All cardstock is SU. My scalloped edge was made with my new die-namics die from MFT and I finished things off with three little green buttons that I embellished with tiny pearls.
I love the way this one came out. Hope you do too.

SereniTEA
Had a chance to play with some new goodies today.
I started with a new stamp set that I purchased from Taylored Expressions called CreativiTEA. LOVE the romantic feel of this set. Right up my ally. I stamped it with SU Close to Cocoa ink and then clear embossed it to make it really pop. I sponged the edges of my circle with Tea Stain from PTI and mounted the circle onto a piece of Close to Cocoa cut out with my blossom nesties. The floral piece behind the image was cut with my Labels 11 from a piece of Graphic 45 paper that I have been hording. The polka dot paper is the flip side to the floral. I finished things off with some pretty lace ribbon also from Taylored Expressions, a few peachy pink roses from Prima and some chocolate crystals around the blossom. I am going to give this card to a very good tea drinking friend of mine who is just such a peaceful person. I know she will enjoy it.

Another CC Designs Card
Okay, so I purchased this sweet Spring Kit of Swiss Pixies from CC Designs over at All That Scraps, and am having a blast using all the adorable stamps that came with it. (I just went back to All That Scraps and do not see the whole kit anymore but all the stamps in the kit are being sold individually listed under May Stamps.)
So I started out by stamping my image onto PTI Cardstock and colored it with my copics, a gelly roll glitter pen and I put a bit of glaze with my glaze pen over the heart for a little shine. I used my much neglected square nesties to cut everything out. My cardstock today is all SU and my dp is MME Quite Contrary. Ribbon from stash, crystals from Taylored Expressions and the Butterflies were cut out with a MS punch. Oh and my layout is a Tuesday Sketch from Mercy from a few weeks ago.

Taylored FBW
This layout has been kicking my butt since Taylor posted it on Friday TESC101. I knew what stamp I wanted to use and knew that I would use it as my FBW challenge card as well but the layout was just not working for me and honestly I am not sure it's even working now!! LOL. But here it is and I hope you like it!! I used Taylors stamp called Discover your wings and I stamped it with Versamark onto Soft Suede Cardstock and then heat embossed with clear EP. My dp is from Taylors key ingredients called Winnies Wall and the rest of my cardstock is Prism. I sponged all edges with vintage photo and added some pearls and a ribbon knot. Actually now that I am looking at this picture, the buttercream yellow color looks alittle washed out too. Oh well....cant love them all!! What I do love however is my new watermark that I purchased from Karen Giron. She does cute watermarks at a great price and is super fast.
So FBW today is an open challenge which means you can use anything with a butterfly, angel or fairy. Go check out the deets at the FBW blog and come and play along with us!!
Thanks so much for stopping in today. I know the weather everywhere is just lousy so lets all hunker down and just stay warm and cozy!!

Thanks for your kindness
Okay now how sweet is this little bear from Taylored Expressions? I have been hoarding this set called Beary Special for awhile without inking it up but Taylors Sketch Challenge TESC98 from 2 weeks ago just screamed for this image in my book.
I started by stamping my image three times. Once on cardstock, once on the printed paper and once on the red paper and then paper pieced the little bear that I cut out of the cardstock. I mounted that onto the grey, cream and red circles cut from my nesties. My gorgeous dp is my newly acquired October Afternoon which I finally found through a friend. All cardstock is SU and I finished this sweet card off with 3 tiny red buttons, one with linen thread tied in a bow.
It is bitter cold again here on Long Island. As you all know, my son is of Bar Mitzvah age and all of his class are making their Bar/Bat Mitzvahs this year so we are heading to Temple in a bit to celebrate with one of those children. I have to say that it is so wonderful to watch these children that we have known for years accomplish this wonderful task of reading from the Torah. I myself did not make my Bat Mitzvah but I am so very proud to be watching my son and his friends. My husband on the other hand did make his Bar Mitzvah and was Bar Mitzvahed in the same Temple we belong to know so it is extra special.
Thanks so much for taking a look today. Hope you enjoyed your visit. I will be back again tomorrow or maybe later with a sweet little card I made for Mojo Monday . Have a great weekend.

Please email me at akranitz@msn.com and give me your snail mail so I can get you your goodies!!
Now, our challenge this week is embossing. ANY kind of embossing will do. I chose to whip out two of my cuttlebug folders and do alittle dry embossing. My butterfly image is from Taylored Expressions and I just went to link the image to the set at TE but it looks like it is out of stock. My dp is My Minds Eye Bloom and Grow, my border punch is one of Marthas wide punches and I finished off my card with a few tiny twinkles also from Taylored Expressions.
Please come and play along with us this week. Just make your embossed flutterby card and upload with keyword FBW or enter into Mr Linky on the Flutterby Blog. Cant wait to see what you come up with. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!!

TESC97 with a Basket of Berries
Made this card for Taylors Sketch Challenge this week. TESC97. I used my newly purchased
Berries and Cherries set (which must be out of stock because I cant find it on the site to link to it). So yummy!! My dp is DCWV Nana's Nursery for Girl. This is the only stack of paper I have ever purchased that I have to say I have used up completely. I even purchased another stack the other day. I just {heart} this stack. My cardstock is Prism, ribbon from Michaels and I colored my image with copics and a spica glitter pen (although you cant see the sparkle).
Thanks for stopping by tonight.

Taylored Birthday Boxes
Hi!! I am so excited to show you this little project I did after I saw the Taylored Expressions Design Team make them. It is a birthday book using Taylors Binder Boxes (which will be back in stock next week at Taylored Expressions) and her Birthday Calender Download. I made 2 of them as holiday gifts and then one of the girls I gave it to asked for two as gifts for her cousins. This is the only one I took a picture of unfortunately but I love the way it came out. I was asked to make it in green so I pulled out some really cute DP from DCWV Nana's Nursery for Boy and Girl. My cardstock is all SU and for my center initial I used my Just Right Stamps. This is such a fun project and everyone has been loving them!! My pictures are out of order but the first one is the monogrammed stationery I made, the second pix is of the inside pages, next is the back of the binder and the last pix is of the front of the binder. I finished off the spine in the same dp too. Then I pack up the stationery with a big fun bow and put it in the box with a pen and viola. A great gift for a girlfriend. Ya gotta give this a try.
So we are expecting a huge blast of cold weather this weekend as I know most of you are experiencing also. I am going to go food shopping tomorrow and stock up the house and bundle up for the weekend in my craft room. What are your weekend plans? Keeping warm I hope!! Do you own a snuggie?? I know, I know, they seem so silly but o my I have to tell you that it was money well spent because it is soooo cozy!! I recommend it!!
On that cozy note, I am going to get some sleep for the night. Thanks so much for stopping by!!

From the heart!
I printed my image onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored with my copics and cut it out with my circle nesties. All my cardstock is Prism and my dp is from We R Memory Keepers. I picked it up at Michaels and just new it would be perfect for this image. I finished off my card by sewing all the edges with my Janome, even the round circle which was a first for me and I made a few boo boos so of course I had to add the flower to adjust!! LOL. The flowers are prima and I added some crystal stickles for some shine.
Thats all for me today. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great one!!

Whoa Sugar Rush!!
Goodmorning!! It is a rainy Saturday morning here on Long Island, but we have some errands to run and a surprise birthday party to go to later so I hope it lets up alittle.
My card today is for Taylors Friday Sketch Challenge TESC88. I had so much fun making this card last night. It uses some of my new fav paper from My Minds Eye, the colors are bright and cheerful and that TE image from Trick or Sweet II is just toooo adorable dont you think?
I started off by stamping my image onto PTI cardstock and paper pieced the crazy hair and the body and colored the head with my copics. My dp is Ooh la la for her by My Minds Eye and my colored cardstock is SU. Ribbon is from MFT Spring Bundle and flowers are primas. Brads I believe were from Doodlebug. Oh and I used my Janome sewing maching to sew around the edges of the two square panels. What do you think? Fun huh??
Just one more note, my laptop has died on me so if I do not get to some of your blogs as regularly as I used to please forgive me. I am doing all my work on my PC and wont be able to blog hop at the times that I am used to. (late at night in bed!!!!). Hopefully within a week or two I can get it fixed or will have to buy a new one!! (ouch!!)
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great weekend.

TESC87 Found a Prince
Made this card for last Fridays Sketch from Taylored Expressions. I am looking at this uploaded picture and I am sorry that it is alittle washed out. It did not look like this when I edited it.I started out with my image from Trick or Sweets II, stamping it onto PTI Cardstock and colored with my copics and then added Dazzling Diamonds to the crown and the thingy bobits in his hand (what is that called???) I cut out my image with a circle nestie and mounted it onto a label 9 nestie. My dp is Muirfield from SU and my cardstock is all SU too. Ribbon is baja breeze from SU and my button was from my stash.
Thanks for taking a peeky today. So glad you came by for a visit. Have a great one!!
