Warm Wishes

Hi Everyone. Hope your weekend is off to a great start!! I was doing alittle creating with a new set I received from The Rubber Cafe called Warm Wishes. This is a fun set that can easily create mass amounts of cards for your holiday season. Just by swapping out your ink color and different Designer Paper you can change things up and keeping the layout makes it easy to duplicate.

For todays card I used black ink and my dp is from DCWV. My brads, ribbon and prima were in stash.

Enjoy your day today. I will be back again with some more creations.

Jumping on the Holiday Bandwagon

I have seen so many gorgeous Holiday cards being made and I just could not get into yet...not until I received some GORGEOUS Chanukah stamps from The Rubber Cafe. The set I used today is called Celebrating the Festival of Lights. It comes with this stunning menorah and 5 different dreidels and sentiments to go along with them. 10 stamps in all.

For todays card I went with the Menorah stamp and colored it in with my copics and a glitter pen. My dp is sooo super old and is from K and Company but it worked just perfect for this card. I embossed the grey panel on the card with my new Polka Dots embossing folder and added three silver brads for some embellishment. Simple yet elegant. I like it...hope you do too.

My kids went back to school today. It is crazy because today was the first day and then they are off Thurs and Friday for the Jewish Holidays.....it is just a tease day!!! LOL.....

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Hope you enjoy your day!!

Fruity kind of day!!

Hi everyone!!! I have another card for you today made with a new set that will be released soon by The Rubber Cafe. It is a great set filled with fruity sentiments and fruit slices. Lots of fun!!!

I colored my image with my copics but I have to say that my apple looks alittle wonky in this picture. The colors are not coming out right. So I colored and then cut out with my circle and scalloped circle nesties. My paper is a mix of scraps from my desk which I have mentioned I am trying to make my way through. Then I stamped my sentiment onto a spellbinders tag and tucked a ribbon on the end with linen thread. I was trying to go for a bit of a rustic feel. Hope you like!!!

We are expecting the tail end of Hurricane Earl to make its way into our town tomorrow so I will have a full day of crafting ahead of me. YAY!!! Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day.

I'm Hooked on You!!

This is a cute and simple little card I made the other day using my Rubber Cafe stamp called I'm Hooked on You. I made a simple grid with four panels using some scraps of Cosmo Cricket from my desk. You have to see my scrap pile right now. It is sinful which is why I have been trying to make a dent in it lately. I added a ton of brads for some character. My image was colored with copics and cut out using my oval nesties and my large scallop oval nesties. My sentiment for this layout was too big for the front so I decided to finish off the inside a bit and add the sentiment there. Easy Peasy.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a great one!!!

Hug the Dog!!

Another cute new set from The Rubber Cafe. This sentiment just warms my heart. Even though I do not have a dog, I do have cats and I know just how nice it is to hug and love on your pets. So basically when the world gets you down, Hug the Dog!!! So true. Pets give such wonderful, unconditional love!!!

I started today by stamping my image with Memento Tuxedo Black onto PTI Cardstock and colored with my copics. My cardstock is all Prism, my dp is October Afternoon and I embellished with some large buttons with linen thread. Yay, easy and fun.

This set can be found at The Rubber Cafe and comes with a bunch of really cute sentiments and dogs. You will love it.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!! Hope you have a great day. Go hug your pets!!!

You need to know how much I care!!

Hi Everyone!! Todays post is on the melancholy side. I found out yesterday that one of my fellow DT Sisters from The Rubber Cafe was struck and by a car and killed. Now how mind boggling is this blog/internet world...I only knew Michelle Hale from posts and visiting her blog but this has really affected me. I cant get her out of my mind. I dont think alot of us realize how much we can influence, inspire and encourage each other just by the words in our blogs and even the work that we post which may touch someone.
I just wanted to take this time to let ALL of you who visit me know just how glad I am for the friendships, inspiration and constant kind words that you leave. You have all touched my life in many ways. More than you can possibly know!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I appreciate you all and you are all a BIG part of my life whether you realize it or not!!

Quickly let me tell you about this card made from a stamp from The Rubber Cafe called Charming Kitty. I think this kitty is the cutest thing in his little witch hat and that sentiment is cute and spooky at the same time.My dp is from DCWV Fall Stack. I colored my image with copics and cut it out with Labels 2 nesties. Cardstock is all SU, ribbon is from Michaels, charm was in my stash and I cut my sentiment out with oval punches from SU.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Take a moment today and everyday to really appreciate the people in your life whether here in blogland or in your "real" life.

BIG Hugs from me to you!!

Happy Haunting!!

Well it is that time of year when all the awesome Halloween stamps start to come out. When I received my DT package the other day from The Rubber Cafe I was thrilled with the adorable things that they had for the season. Including this sweet set called Pumpkin Face Mix and Match which you can find here. Can you see the endless pumpkin possibilities!! How fun!!

I decided to make a patch of pumpkins for todays card and I did so by using the masking technique and stamped 3 different pumpkins and then used a face stamp for the middle pumpkin. I colored all with my copics. My cardstock is green and brown my dp is from DCWV Fall Stack and I used a chocolate brown ribbon and some tiny twinkles for embellishment. My sentiment is from another super cute set from The Rubber Cafe called Trick or Treat.

Well quick post for me today. I am off to run a few errands with the kidlets. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fantastic day.

Another Christmas Goodie

Hi All!! Hope you are having a fantastic Saturday!! My card today is using images from The Rubber Cafe. The main image is called Long Swirled Ornament and Bow and can be found HERE and the sentiment can be found HERE

My image was stamped onto cardstock with versamark and embossed with black ep. I then cut it out with my precision scissors and mounted it onto my ovals with dimesionals. My ovals were cut out with my nesties. My dp is from Chatterbox, my black cardstock was embossed with my swiss dots folder. I then stamped my sentiment with versamark onto velum and embossed it too with black ep. I finished this off with some velvet ribbon and grey baubles. Christmas in August

Okay now I know MANY of you have been chugging along on your Holiday cards all year and I have wanted to jump on the bandwagon but could not get myself to break out the Holiday stamps until today. I received this stamp called Holly Wreath from The Rubber Cafe and Holiday motivation set in. I just love the little swirls around the wreath.

I started off by stamping my image with Memento Tuxedo Black onto PTI Cardstock and coloring with my copics and adding some sparkle with my Gelly Roll Glitter Pen. I cut my image out with my circle Nesties and mounted it onto a circle of Bravo Burgandy and a scalloped circle of Always Artichoke. Same colors were used for my layers and my dp is Basic Greys Wassail which I love for holiday cards. My sentiment is also from The Rubber Cafe. It is this one and I just inked up the Peace portion of it and cut it out with my oval nesties and added a few brads. My gold ribbon was one that I picked up the other day on my excursion to Joann's. Oh and I forgot to mention that I sewed the larger panels with my Janome Sew Mini. I think I am getting the hand of this thing.

Speaking of the sewing machine, my kids are on a kick making pillows with the machine. When at Joanns the other day I purchased a few yards of soft fuzzy fabric and some fill and they are just having a ball. I dont know what we will do with all of these little pillows I now have all over the house but atleast they are being creative and keeping busy!!

Thanks so much for popping by to say Hi. I just love reading all of your comments everyday and most of all love reading all of your blogs and getting wonderful inspiration from you. Have a fantastic day!!

Joie de Vivre

Here is another card made with stamps from The Rubber Cafe. Their stamps are quite beautiful and very unique. I started by stamping my image onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock with a burgandy ink and then I cut it out with my oval nesties and mounted it onto a burgandy oval. My dp is from Bo Bunny which I have had for awhile and it is just gorgeous paper. My polka dot ribbon is from Michaels and then I hope you can see it but I stamped my sentiment, "Joie de Vivre" onto the dp and then added a few crystals. Now I do not speak french so I had to look this sentiment up on google which told me it translates into something like Joy of Life or enjoying life. Which is what I would be doing for sure with this bottle of wine and and the grapes!!

Thanks so much for stopping by. I will have another post in alittle while. Have a fantastic day.
