FBW with Tink!!

Happy FBW!! Today is an inspiration challenge and Danni has challenged us with a sweet picture of Tinkerbell that you can find on the FBW Blog. I chose to pull out the yellows and greens for my card today. I started by stamping my image from Unity onto PTI cardstock and coloring with my copics. I cut it out with my circle nesties and mounted it onto a blossom nestie cutout. All of my paper is from DCWV Nanas Nursery and all cardstock is SU. I finished things off by stamping my sentiment from Unity and rounding the corners for a different look, then tied a ribbon and added my butterfly punches from MS and I am complete. Did you also notice the little butterfly in the sentiment. How sweet!!
Why dont you play along with us this week. The inspiration can be found on the FBW blog as can links to all of my DT sisters who I know created works of wonderfulness!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Enjoy your day!!

Hangin in with FWF at Unity

Guess what I received this week? My February Unity KOTM and I am once again blown away by the adorable and heartfelt images and sentiments that are part of this kit. I signed up again for Unitys Friends with Flair Friday so I had an opportunity to use my new stamps AND I paired it with my newly acquired Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety paper. MMMMM this paper is yummy!!! So fresh, just like a garden full of vegetables!!! How is that for Spring like thoughts!!!

I stamped my image onto PTI Cream Cardstock and colored with my copics and cut out my image with my square nesties. I told you about the dp, and all cardstock is SU. Then I finished things off with a few brads, a crocheted flower with a prima in the center and some linen thread.

So now about this FWF....what you want to do is start at the beginning and hop through all the FWF participants to find the Unity Blinkie. When you find the Blinkie, leave a comment on that blog and you will be in the running for a slew of Unity Stamps. How fun is that!!! If you have been hopping along then Ky is next on the hop.

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Hope you have some great plans for the weekend. ENJOY!!

FWF Friday!!

Hi and Happy Friday!!! Kids went back to school today after being home for two days worth of snow days but are then off all of next week for Presidents week. I happen to like when my kids are home on vacation. The pace is slower and I feel like I can relax alittle more.  In case you are wondering, Bar Mitzvah plans are moving along nicely. We are getting responses back daily and it is so much fun to see who will be joining us at the party.
So today I am here to bring you another Friends with Flair Unity Card. I have so much fun with Unitys FWF Blog Hop because it forces me to use my Unity stamps which, if I haven't already told you, I {HEART}them!!! For todays card I stamped my image onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock and colored with my copics. I then used my circle and blossom nesties and layered my cardstock. My dp is Cosmo Cricket Early Bird and all cardstock is SU. For my border punch, I used one from MS and of course I cannot remember the name of it right now. Then I finished things off with some real red ribbon and tiny crystals.

Next up on the Blog Hop is Kelly. I am sure she will have something wonderful for you to glance at. But what you really want to do is start at the BEGINNING and try and find the Unity Blinkie so you can win some AWESOME Unity Stamps.  Also check out the featured stamp set over at Little Paper Shop today. Floral Wishes. If you go to the Little Paper Shop Blog you will see some awesome eye candy for this set!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!! Have a great day!!m,

You and Me....

Another Friday hanging with Unity Peeps. I am enjoying Friends with Flair Fridays because it gives me a reason to whip out my Unity stamps. Todays card is made with an image and sentiment from the January KOTM. I paper pieced the flowers and leaves and my dp is all scraps I put together. I did some simple embellishing with some paper piercing and tiny twinkles. Simple but elegant I think!!

Want a chance to win some Unity stamps? Just check out this link for the FWF blog hop and find the Unity blinkie along the way and leave a message on that blog. Have fun checking out the awesome eye candy and good luck at that win.

Have an awesome day!!

My day is Brightened by Unity!!

Like I said in my last post using Unity stamps, I am loving thier KOTM. Such fun and whimsical images and sentiments. For todays card I used the cute little trio of mushrooms for my main image. See the little snail inching its way up the side. Ohhhh I love it!!! I stamped my image onto PTI White Cardstock and colored with my copics. My dp is my newly acquired MME Love me do. My sentiment is Verve and I finished off my card today with a cluster of primas, a button and some linen thread. I just love how fun this little card is. Hope you do too.

So if you follow my blog you know that I am in the process of planning my sons Bar Mitzvah. I found out tonight that my invitations are in and I am sooooo excited about that. I cant wait to finally mail them out and find out who will be joining us for this very special day. I know you may be saying "HMMMM she did not make her invites?" Well no, I just could not stand the pressure of having to make 100 PERFECT and I mean PERFECT invites. I would have drove myself crazy with every last little detail on every single one of them! KWIM?? So I will keep you posted on more details on that!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope you enjoyed my card today. Have a great day!

You are my heart!!

Oh how I love this sentiment and all of the fabulous sentiments in the January KOTM from Unity. I am hooked thanks to my friend Jessica. (thanks Jess!!). She has just done such wonderful things with the Unity stamps that I just could not resist signing up!!!

For todays card I started by stamping my sentiment onto Choice Buttercream Cardstock with memento tuxedo black and colored the heart with my copics. All my cardstock is SU and my dp is Basic Grey Sultry which I picked up at Michaels today, then I whipped out my sewing machine which I have not done in such a long time and sewed up my edges. The border punches I used are MS and Fiskars and I finished off with some sheer ribbon also from Michaels.

Thanks so much for taking a peek today. Hop on over to the Unity Blog to check out a list of Friends with Flair participants and you can hop around to find the hidden blinkie and win some awesome Unity stamps!!! Looks like Rachel is after me at http://mylifemylovesmypassions.blogspot.com/. Have a fantastic weekend. I will be celebrating my birthday tomorrow and I cant wait...my kids have a home cooked meal planned for me!!! How super sweet!!! Cant wait!!

Where ever you go....

Today's card for FBW was made with Mercy's sketch from last week. MTSC49. I flipped it on its side and used images from Unity Stamps which are new and I just had to ink up in honor of my friend Jess being their guest designer this month!! Way to go Jess!!! You rock!!

I printed my image onto Choice Buttercream cardstock with Not Quite Navy ink. All of my cardstock is Prism and my dp is from My Minds Eye Playful Posies that I got for a steal at Michael's this past weekend and of course I added my pretty little butterflies with my fiskar's punch.

When you get a chance, check out the rest of the DT's creations. They are listed on my sidebar and when you upload your card for this week, use keyword FBW so that we can find you or enter your card into Mr Linky on Dannis site here.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day!!
