I'm a week behind on sketches
Made this card for Mercys Challenge last week. I just adore her challenges.
I started by stamping my Ketto image from Stamping Bella onto PTI cream cardstock and colored with my copics and some shimmerz on the wings. I sponged the edges alittle with Memento cantelope. My dp is from the new October Afternoon line and I mounted all of that onto black cardstock form SU. Then I simply finished things off with some red ribbon from the spring pack of ribbon at MFT. She's cute isn't she??
I dont have any pics back yet to share with you. Hopefully this week sometime the photographer will get them to me. I cant wait for you to see my handsome boy on his special day!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day!!

LPSC65 Color Challenge
We have a gorgeous color challenge for you today over at Little Paper Shop Blog. Banana, Lilac and White. How yummy is that combo??? I knew exactly what paper I was going to use and I knew I had to use this beautiful newly released set called ROSE. I stamped my image from the set twice onto paper from DCWV Nannas Nursery. I then cut out a few of the petals to pop up for some dimension and sponged the edges with Memento Cantelope. The rest of the DP is also from DCWV. All cardstock is SU as is my ribbon, brads and silver flower embellishment.
Want to play along? There is a fun digi image up for grabs to one random winner of this weeks challenge. All the deets can be found on the Little Paper Shop Blog as well as inspiration from the rest of the DT.

Sweet Sunday Sketch SSSC66
Hi!! I am finally making my way back to crafting and thought the best way to get going was a good sketch challenge which I found here on Karen's Blog.
I started out by stamping some Unity Images from this months KOTM onto PTI Cardstock and cutting it out with my circle nesties. Then I mounted that onto a blossom cut out from New Leaf cardstock also from PTI. My dp is all MME Quite Contrary and I finished things off with a few Hero Arts Flowers that I colored with my copics, ribbon from PTI and some crystals from Taylored Expressions. Not bad for not having crafted alot in the last few weeks. Boy did it feel good to be back at my desk!!! Not just for obligations.
Thanks so much for stopping in. I will be back tomorrow with my Monday Challenge from Little Paper Shop. It's a good one, you wont want to miss it!!!

Lets alter it!!!
Hi all!!! Our challenge this week at Little Paper Shop, LPSC63, is to alter something or make something 3D. Okay so I was alittle scared by this challenge that our Julia issued to us but I took it like a trooper and set out into my craft room on a search for my alterable items. I do own them I just dont alter items very often!!! What I turned to was this cute lucite frame that I made for my daughter. I used three different Little Paper Shop sets for this project. Butterflies, For You and Sugar. My dp is from MME Quite Contrary Line. All cardstock is SU and I my embellishments are some pink crystals I found at Michaels. Check out all the deets of the challenge on the Little Paper Shop Blog and you can also see all the fabu creations from the rest of the DT.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. My sons Bar Mitzvah is this Saturday so I will be back to my normal crafting self by next week!!!

Today we have a special treat for you at Flutterby Wednesday. We are being sponsored by one of our Fabu Alumni, Stef, from Glitterbabe Greetings!!! LOVE this girl!!! I used one this week and had a blast using it. Hop on over to the Flutterby Wednesdays Blog for all the deets.
I started my card today by printing my digi onto PTI cardstock, colored with my copics, cut them out and popped them up on dimensionals. My dp is Quite Contrary by MME. All cardstock today is SU as is my ribbon. Then I embellished with some crystals I purchased at Michaels and added some bling to the wings with my spica pen which is hard to see in the picture.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Again, if you head over to the Flutterby Wednesday Blog you can see all the deets on the challenge and see links to the rest of the fantastic FBW Team.

LPSC62 Your Tweet!!
I know I know.....you are probably surprised to see me posting considering I have been MIA for a FULL week!! Well first off it is Little Paper Shop Monday so I wanted to share with you the awesome sketch we have for you to try and then I will explain my absence. The challenge this week is LPSC62 and the sketch can be found here on the Little Paper Shop Blog.
For my card today I used Tweet Wishes Lucy. I paper pieced her and colored her with my copics. My dp is Quite Contrary from MME and I finished things off with a prima flower and some crystals. My border punch is the new one from SU and I used my rectangle and oval nesties to cut out my image and back panel.
So my absence.....well....after I posted my card last Monday we had two days worth of torrential rain and my entire basement flooded on Tuesday in the middle of cooking dinner for Passover. I called my hubby home in a panic when I saw the water coming in and thank goodness we were able to get all damagable items up and off the floor but we had to pump out the basement with a sump pump and then we had two shop vacs going at the same time!! Quite a mess. It was just today that I was able to come down here to kind of clean up alittle. It is still very musty down here and I get alittle queezy if I stay down here to long. So that is my story....Bar Mitzvah in less than two weeks....whoo hoo then I will be back to my old crafting self. I just cant wait to sink my teeth into some new goodies that I just have not had a chance to use.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and come play along with the LPS challenge this week. You can win the super cute Mermaid Jena digi. Have a great day!!

Great color challenge today over at the Little Paper Shop Blog. We are challenged to use Kraft, Chocolate and Yellow. I used So Saffron as my yellow and created this card for you today. My dp is all older SU paper today and I used So Saffron Ribbon. My sentiment is from the newly released set this month from Little Paper Shop called Everyday and I just cant get enough of this fantastic set. I finished my card off today with some chocolate stick on pearls and a flower with pearls that I found in the Wedding Section of Michaels.
Why dont you come and play along with us this week? The prize for the week is the In Loving Memory set from Little Paper Shop. More deets and inspiration can be found on the Little Paper Shop Blog.
Thanks for stopping by today. I am off to go finish my food shopping for Passover Dinner which starts tonight. Have a great day!!

New Goodies for FBW!!
So many new goodies went into the making of this weeks Flutterby Wednesday card which by the way is an open challenge. Just use a butterfly, fairy or angel. So anyway my image is from this months Unity KOTM. I stamped it onto choice cream cardstock and colored it with my copics and then added some new Plum vintage buttons from PTI which coordinate with my new Plum cardstock and ribbon. My dp was picked up at my lss and if I remember correctly it is Basic Grey. Last but not least, my sentiment is from the newly released set from Little Paper Shop called Everyday. Gotta love new goodies!!!
Take a look at the FBW blog for more info on this weeks challenge and come play along with us!!!
On a personal note, I had my first dress fitting today and even though I have been eating EVERYTHING in site (nerves) my dress looked great and I am so excited. We bought my son his suit and now have to have that taylored. Met with the dj today to go over the video montage and met with a good friend of mine who is going to make my jewelry to match my dress. So everything is falling into place. April 17th is coming real fast!!! I wish I can invite all of you to join us for the big day. I will have plenty of pictures to share.
On another personal note, I was copic certified this past weekend. Very exciting!!! We had a great class and had alot of fun learning some very interesting facts about copics.

LPSC60
Monday Monday!!! That means another fantastic challenge from the Little Paper Shop. This weeks challenge, LPSC60 was issued to us in the form of a sketch from our very own, uber talented Allison. The sketch can be found here, along with some fantastic samples from the rest of the DT to stir your creative juices.
Now I have to be honest when saying that this sketch really kicked my butt. I just could not wrap my brain around the TRUE lines of the sketch so as you can see I just interpreted it for you today. I started with a scalloped circle of black cardstock and then added a scalloped circle of dp from Basic Grey and my background paper is Basic Grey also. The sentiment that I used today is from the newly released set called Everyday. I am LOVING this new set. Then I added some ribbon and a few black crystals that I bought at Michaels. If you get a chance to play along this week with the sketch and we certainly hope that you do, then you can be in the running for the stamp set, Topiary.
So I am in the final weeks before my sons Bar Mitzvah and I am all consumed with it as you can imagine and probably figured due to my lack of crafting and posting here on my blog. It just amazes me how many tiny details are going into the planning of this party. This is actually bigger than my own wedding!!!! So please bear with me and my absence. I so miss my crafting desk and I actually have a ton of new goodies to play with.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! I hope you have a great day!!

Hop along with LPS
When I saw this new set that the Little Paper Shop DT is previewing today I was thrilled because every sentiment is super special. You will love EVERY last one of them. I especially loved the one I am using today. "To the world you may just be one person but to one person you may be the world". I made this card for my DH because I wanted him to know just how special he is.
Our challenge today at Little Paper Shop was to use something old. LPSC59. Well being I was making a masculine card, I turned to some old SU paper that I love and have not used in forever. Along with our challenge and Preview of this new set called "Everyday", we are having a super fun blog hop for you to enjoy. I am hoping you have visited me via Heather and that you have had a chance to leave comments along the way. After me you will head over to see Julia where you will continue to hop along and back to the LPS Blog where you should leave a comment that you finished the hop and commented along the way. Then you will be in the running for the set that is being released tomorrow called "Everyday". You have another chance to win a prize by playing along with our "something old" challenge LPSC59. The prize for this will be the set "Take Time". So go hop along and if you get lost along the way, just start at the LPS Blog which will direct you to the list of hoppers.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and enjoy the blog hop we have put together for you today!!!

Apple Lily Preview at LPS
I am so excited to bring you this months previews at Little Paper Shop. These images that owner Julia puts out keep getting cuter and sweeter EVERY month!! Today the DT and I are previewing "Apple Lily" for you. It will be released this Tuesday and can I just say that this is a must have set for your collection. Who can resist this sweet little Lily holding an apple with her cute apple skirt...and all of the sentiments with this set, as you can imagine, one is sweeter than the next. Dare I say sweeter than an apple!!!
Head on over to the Little Paper Shop blog and check out what the rest of the DT has created for you and while you are there, leave a comment so you can be in the running for this amazing new set from Little Paper Shop.
On a personal note, my sons Bar Mitzvah is now only one month away and you can just imagine the crunch time that is going on here....I am completely overwhelmed and have started to shed a tear or two with frustration. Lindsay and I did FINALLY find dresses. Here is a pic of mine except it will be in chocolate brown and I am having it cut to cocktail length. Do you like?? It is one of these dresses that is very forgiving on the figure so it looks fantastic on.
Well I will keep you posted on the comings and goings of the Bar Mitzvah and I will be back tomorrow with another preview for Little Paper Shop. Thanks for stopping by today.

Had a chance to play around today with a PI girl from MFT. Now I started out with last weeks SCS sketch and somehow this is what I came up with. This card just morphed if you KWIM!!! But I do like the final result.
My image is stamped onto Xpress Blend It Paper and colored with copics. I added a ton of crystal stickels to her wings and her wand. My paper is a mix of Girls Paperie and Echo Park and cardstock is kraft and Pink Pirouette with a pink pirouette bow and some pink brads.
Gotta go catch up on some American Idol. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!!!

Happy 100th Danni!!!!
Happy 100th FBW Danni!!! I am so very happy for you and how far FBW has come and I am so proud to be a part of this team. As you can tell, we have all made you FBW Flutterby Boxes thanks to the wonderful and kind idea from Karen, and I chose to decorate my box with your initial and blinged it out. I hope you like it. I worked with a green and brown palate today. Not your typical Flutterby colors but my daughter did not want me to use "typical" butterfly colors so she chose these colors for you!!
Have yourself a fantastic day Danni and I hope you are fluttering by for another 100 challenges!!! You are a super fantastic person and I am so glad to have been able to get to know you and work with you.
HUGS to you and hugs to everyone who stopped in today to be part of this with Danni. Go and show her some love on her blog!!

I dare ya!!
I made this card about a week ago and have not had a moment to upload it to blogger but I LOVE how this came out!! Do you just love that sentiment? And isnt it perfect with this super cute Missmatch Ketto from Stamping Bella. What I love even more is this delish paper from October Afternoon and I can just stare at my bow all day!! I am so proud of this bow. I really think it is because I used some awesome ribbon from MFT to make it!! Okay so I am in love with this card what can I say...it happens sometimes....I hope you like it too.
Thanks for checking in with me today!! Have a great one!!
