Okay I cant begin to tell you how happy this little Pure Innocence stamp makes me. She is just simply adorable in every way. And my daughter does not play the violin but there is something so utterly sweet about this set that I just jumped when I saw it go up for sale. She is of course from MFT and is called Violin Girl. I started out wanting to paper piece her dress but her hand and arm challenged me more than it was worth so I colored her with copics.

My kids and husband just ran out to pick up some frozen yogurt from a new franchise that just opened by us called Tutti Fruitie. The kids are crazy about this place and tonight will be my first time giving it a try. I am sure it will be amazing like they say. Does anyone else have a Tutti Fruitie by them??

Played with last weeks Splitcoaststampers sketch for this card today, SC368. I have to say, for some reason this sketch really rocked me....starred at it for days until I could get it finished then it finally all came together.

I will be spending the day studying with my son for his Biology Midterm which is tomorrow so wish me luck. It is so difficult to get a 14 year old boy to study. Atleast MY 14 year old.

Hi All!! I needed a few thank you notes for some birthday presents received so I used this sweet little lamb image called Where Flowers Bloom along with last Wednesdays MFT Sketch 55. I colored him up with copics and spectrum noir markers.

As I am posting this the NY Giants are playing the San Fran 49ers and we are all keeping our fingers crossed for the Giants to pull through to make it to the Superbowl. It is really the only time I will sit through a whole football game. When our local team makes it to the Superbowl, otherwise I get too bored!!!

Here is a quick little card I created for the Sweet Sunday Sketch and the weekly Stamping Bella Challenge which was to use an old favorite stamp. I happen to love the huggabugs and was very surprised to see that I had never inked this sweet little one up soooo it became my fav this week!!

My paper is Basic Grey Picadilly and I added some yummy PTI ribbon.

Ohhh was I excited to get my new Love Monsters set from Taylored Expressions in the mail. This set is just sooo adorable and fun. I paired it up with this weeks SCS Sketch SC367. What do you think?? I really like the way this turned out and I am loving this new die from MFT too. The Prima Donna Petals. I have used it on everything lately.

I paper pieced my little monsters and then added some paper piercing around the edge of the image to break up all the white.

Hi All!!! Created this card for two reasons. I wanted to play along with the MFT sketch of the week and I was absent minded and missed a good friends birthday so I wanted to make something special for her. Now I just have to get it in the mail!!! KWIM??

I pulled out the stamp from MFT called Cheers from the ala modes line. I just love that tall thin glass of champagne!! So cute. Then I finally learned how to make my flowers using the Prima Donna Petals Die from MFT. It was suggested to me to go onto You Tube and I found a great tutorial from Kim at MFT. What a huge help. I was clueless on how to create these fun flowers.

I had a real challenge with this sketch. It just wasnt working for me for some reason but finally this is what I came up with. I used the Sunflower Wreath stamp from Taylored Expressions. I actually started by coloring my image first and then picked my paper which is totally opposite of what I normally do. All in all I finally like how this came out.

Hello All!!! Had a great time playing along with the January SFYTT. I pulled out a Taylored Expressions set that I purchased over the holidays and did not have a chance to play with. Sooo glad I did. LOVE this set. Cant wait to use it again.

For this card I colored again with my Spectrum Noir markers which are becoming a fav for me next to my copics. They are being sold from Crafters Companion and they are fairly inexpensive. I dont think they will take the place of my copics but it does give additional options at a good price.

Splish Splash

I had a chance to play with the MFT sketch this week and an older PI image that I just love. I used Pure Innocence Splish Splash. I happen to have a son and I do enjoy the boy PI images alot.(although my little boy is not so little anymore just about turning 15)

I colored my image with a new line of alcohol markers from Crafters Companion called Spectrum Noir. They have a broad tip and a smaller hard tip. Not a brush tip like copics but I have to say they blend beautifully.

You Make me Smile

I was so excited to get back to my crafting desk this weekend. We had a fantastic holiday season and a great New Year and now I am going to get back to what I really enjoy doing. I have found it hard to balance my crafting and my family. I enjoy being with my family in the evenings but that is my stampy time too so I just have to come to a happy compromise because I enjoyed myself so much this weekend. I had so many new goodies to play with that I did not know where to begin so I just pulled out some sketches for the week and I went to work.

I used the MOJO Monday Sketch 222. I decided to flip the sketch to use the Verve Classy Label Die and this sentiment from the Verve Love Notes set.

Paint Fusion with Sheena Douglass

Hi Everyone!! It always amazes me how simple it is to paint something beautiful with the Paint Fusion system by Sheena Douglass. I always get started staring at all my materials with such fear and then once you get started and follow her super easy directions you get so motivated at what you are creating.

Sheena Douglass's new Christmas line, which we are all previewing for you this week, has warm and festive images for all of your Christmas need. Today I chose to go with the image "Tree". I stamped my large image twice and painted them with acrylic paint and my brushes. Then I stamped the background images onto my cardstock to make it look like a forest and I cut out my larger trees and popped them up with dimensionals. The beautiful scroll on the bottom of the card was created using my Ultimate Crafters Tool. It is one of the embossing features of the tool and then I just added a few tiny crystals for a bit of bling.

I Wheelie Love You

Played with some of last months release from The Cats Pajamas. Today I used the cutest set called Wheel Love. I always find this little bunnies ears to be so intimidating to color....they are huge but I do like the way he came out today.

I started by stamping my image onto Xpress Blending Paper and coloring with copics. My dp is MME 6 x 6 Happier. All cardstock is from PTI and so is my ribbon. I dry embossed my bluish panels and of course my image is cut out with circle nesties.

A Cute Little Hello

Happy Wednesday Everyone!! I am here today to share a little set of notecards I made with some goodies from Crafters Companion. With the kids going back to school, these will be great for quick communication with the teachers. Pretty enough and simple enough. I started with beige and pink cardstock and stamped my image and sentiment from the Flower Fairies Winter Collection in a chocolate brown. I cut all my paper with my Ultimate Crafters Companion. I popped my layers up with dimensionals and made tiny envelopes with my Envelobox Creator. Then I finished things off with a few tiny pearls and I am done. Thanks so much for stopping by today. And yes it is!!!! I was back in my craft room today after having a 4 inch flood which caused a bit of damage. Made a card today using the cute new set from There She Goes called Float my Boat. I started by stamping my image onto Xpress Blending paper and coloring with my copics. I am still on a "use my scraps" kick so I pulled these two papers off my pile. I think they go perfect with this sweet image. My two border dies are from MFT and my bakers twine is from Ribbon Carousel. Button and crystals are from Michaels.

Here is my creation for today. Like I did with the rest of the week, I used scraps off my pile to make this card so I do not know whose paper I used. I colored my little guy with copics and cut it out using Labels 1 nesties. I added alittle coat of crystal effects on the eyes which I am not sure you can see. Then I could not figure out a good place for the sentiment on the front so I created alittle panel inside for it.

Happy Birthday with Humphrey

Hi Everyone!! I made a card today using a Humphrey stamp called Birthday Girl from Crafters Companion. Dont you just love that sweet little face?
I started today by stamping my image onto cardstock and coloring with copics. I cut all my panels with the Utimate Crafters Companion and glued all my panels together using Mono Multi Glue. Then I embellished a little with a few green crystals and twine that I had in my stash.

Hi All!! We just got back from our family vacation to Lake George. We had such a fabulous time. The weather was perfect and so were the kids. I could not have asked for a better time. I made this card from There She Goes before I left but never had a chance to post it, and it was a good thing I got it done before hand because we were not able to take ALL of my crafting supplies that I wanted to. My husband thought he brought the necessary box but left behind the ink and stamps. Soooooo a week without crafting for me. I am going to make up for lost time tomorrow for sure. But todays card is made with the There She Goes set called Blossom by Blossom (which I just noticed is out of stock). I decided to do some paper piecing with this little sweetie and then colored the rest with copics. My paper is MME and my flowers and border were made with MFT Dienamics.

This new Fairy Best set from There She Goes keeps calling my name. I had to play with it today. I love this little mushroom image and thought what a nice friendship card it would make. The dp I used today is MME Happy Go Lucky. Ribbon and brads were from Michaels and my border punch is MFT.

The weather here is so fabulous. My family is so nice and tan already and I have yet to get down to the beach. I am thinking maybe this weekend I will be brave enough to bear the bod for the first time this summer!!!! LOL...wish me luck.....

I had some free time to play today so I went straight to a new set being released Saturday night from There She Goes called Fairy Best. Humphrey is coming

This is a card made for Crafters Companion using a soon to be released stamp set from Humphrey Corners. This one is called Birthday Girl. Super sweet right. I started by stamping my image and coloring with copics. My dp is a scrap I had on my desk and I used some lemondrop twine and a yellow button to finish things off.

Sketch 80 at Skipping Stones Design today. SSD80. It is a fun sketch. I love making circle cards and never think to do them on my own unless I am challenged with a sketch. You can find out all the deets about the sketch here.

For my card today I used the set Dandelion Dreams (which I just noticed is sold out...sorry about that) and some MME paper. I created alittle scallop border with MFT open scallop die and used labels 11 nesties to cut out my sentiment panel.

Lighten Up

I had a chance to play alittle in my craft room so I pulled out a fun set from There She Goes called Lighten up which is a fun set made up of a variety of lamp shades and bases that can create a TON of possibilities with fun sentiments. Go check it out!!

I stamped the base of the lamp and colored wih my copics. Then stamped the shade onto cardstock and designer paper. Cut them out, glued them together and popped it up on dimensionals for a fun effect. The dp I used was MME. All cardstock is PTI, lace is from Michaels, flowers are primas with a flower brad in the center and my leaves were made with a sizzix die from SU.

Hi All. I hope you are enjoying your weekend. It has cooled off tremendously here on Long Island so I did some house organizing and got some crafting done. For todays card I used a very pretty set from There She Goes called Thinking of You. I stamped my flower image behind my sentiment is pumpkin ink and stampe the sentiment using chocolate brown. I cut out the panel using Labels 11. My designer paper is a mix of MME Stella Rose and my brads and ribbon are SU. A friend of mine had a super tough week so I am going to send this on to her for a little pick me up.

Fairyopolis from Crafters Companion

Hi All!!! Today and I have a sweet card to share with you that was made with a lot of yummy Fairyopolis goodness from Crafters Companion.

I started to create my card by picking the beautiful paper from the Fairyopolis 12 x 12 paper pack. I cut some of my layers on my card with the Ultimate Crafters Companion and popped up the layers with dimension from the Fairyopolis Card Making Kit. From the same kit I used the rub-ons for this sweet little fairy girl and my sentiment. Then to finish things off I created the pretty pink bow with the bow making tool in the Ultimate Crafters Companion and added some crystals found in the card making kit. I am embarrassed to tell you how quickly this card came together. With the Fairyopolis Card Making Kit you can create beautiful projects in no time because it comes with everything you could need all in one kit.

Had a chance to play with a new CA-UTE set from There She Goes. Freeze the Moment is a super must have set for the summer. Great images and as always super cute sentiments to go with them. For my card today I pulled scraps off my HUGE scrap pile and pieced them together. I colored my image with copics and cut it out with circle and scallop circle nesties. My ribbon is from Michaels. I am on my way to a friends 14th Birthday and I think she will just love this dont you?

New Boxer Board from Crafters Companion

Hi All. I am here today to share with you a project that I made with the new Boxer and Envelobox Boards for The Ultimate Crafters Companion. For my project I decided to make the little suitcase box and I chose to put a few pieces of stationery in it. The pretty paper I used was from the Fairyopolis Line of products. I used the Ultimate Crafters Companion for cutting and for creating the little bows on my cards in the box. I also decorated the box with some pretty daisies that I painted with the Paint Fusion Supplies. Let me just say that this project came together in no time thanks to the super easy and detailed directions that Sara gives on the Advanced Construction Techniques DVD. I have made box projects in the past and none of them EVER came out as perfect as this box did. All my corners were always off a tad but with the Boxer Board your dimensions come out PERFECT!!! You will love the results of all your projects.

I wante to share a There She Goes card that I made this week using In All the World. It is loosly based on this weeks inspiration challenge as I tried to pull the pinks of the flowers out of the inspiration picture.

I stamped my image and colored with copics. My dp is from Jillibean. I stacked a few scallop punches on the bottom and my ribbon is from SU.

Paint Fusion with Crafters Companion

At Crafters Companion a super easy and fun painting technique was just released. It is Sheena Douglases Paint Fusion. All instructions and everything you will need to create beautiful art work can be purchased as a bundle or seperately. You can check all of the goodies out right here.

For my card today I used the Daisies Stamp set and painted with the Royal and Langnickel brushes. I used white and tide pool paint for my daisies and I just followed the directions given on the CD and with just alittle bit of practice this is what I was able to create. I have never painted a picture in my life so for a first timer I am pretty proud of this.

Its All About the Boys today at By LORi Designs. This is the fun challenge that Lori has created for all of you to sink your teeth into. I know, I know, it is so much harder to make a "Boy" card but honestly with all the super adorable images that Lori has in her store for boys it just makes it so much easier.

For my card today I used Puddle Jumper I love you Davey. I colored this little guy and bear with copics and cut them out to pop up on my rectangle panel. My dp is new MME Lime Twist Paper and my ribbon is PTI.

Hi Ho Everyone!!! I am here to share this weeks Tuesday Sketch from Skipping Stones Design which was designed by out guest Danielle Flanders. For my card today I pulled out some new My Minds Eye Lime Twist paper to play with. The sentiment is from Chick Chat. I did not have little labels to work with so I created some with cardstock. Not quite as perfect as I would like but cute none the less.

3D Flower Challenge TSG105

I know I am alittle late with this but our challenge for you this week at There She Goes Clear Stamps is to use a 3 Dimentional flower on your card. What I decided to do for this challenge was to create a 3D effect with the cute stamp sets Garden of Life and In all the World. I stamped my images on my cardstock and then stamped in two additional times, cut them out and popped them up on dimentionals. Cute huh?

Here are some deets for you about this weeks challenge:

This week’s challenge is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the Week, Tammy. She wants to see your use of gorgeous and versatile 3D flowers. You can use poofy flowers, diecut flowers, Primas, felt, or crocheted flowers…let your imaginations run wild! We can’t wait to see what you come up with! :)

I colored my image with copics and cut it out to pop it up on my oval center panel.

My border punch is a Martha Stewart punch and the tiny flowers in the wagon were created with a fiskars punch. My ribbon is Pink Pirouette from SU.

Every little girl wants to be a Fairy

Boy isn't that the truth and with the new Fairyopolis line from Crafters Companion you can create Fairy Goodness for all the little girls (and big girls) in your life.
For todays card I used the newly released Fairyopolis Clear Stamp Set Summer and some yummy gorgeous Fairyopolis 12 x 12 paper. Now let me just say this.....your project making options with the Fairyopolis Line are endless. There are four stamp sets in Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn, 12 x 12 paper, a cd pack, a card making kit and so many more goodies all of which you can purchase together as a bundle or individually.

So as I said, I used the Clear Summer Set. I stamped my image onto cardstock and colored with copics. I added a ton of shimmery stickles to her wings for lots of bling!! I was able to use my Ultimate Crafters tool to trim up some of my paper and of course to make my bow.

Good Morning!!! I have a cute There She Goes card for you today. I made it with the new Out of this World set. I stamped the cute little monster dude (or in this case dudette) and colored with copics. My dp is from a sample pack and of course I do not remember the name of it. If I was to guess I think it was October Afternoon Detours and I finished things off with a big fun bow and prima flower. Have a terrific weekend!!! Hi!! I wanted to bring you a cute card I made this week from my There She Goes set called Good Times. Another masculine colored card today. No particular reason I just seem to be in that kind of mood. I stamped my image onto PTI cardstock and colored with copics. My patterened paper is from a SU Prints Pack and my ribbon is Kiwi Kiss from SU also. I added a few silver brads from Michaels for alittle bit of decoration and unfortunately you cant see it in this picture but my sentiment is stamped onto the polka dotted paper in the corner. So yea...except for that little tiny cute bow this card just screams male all the way around!!!

Hi Everyone!!! I am sharing a card I made using the new SWALK 3 line of stamps from Crafters Companion. This one is called SWALK 3 - Best Friends. Can you say ADORABLE!!! These images just melt my heart. I stamped my image and colored with copics. I cut a lot of my paper out with my Ultimate Crafter's Companion and I created my bow with the this tool as well. For my card today I used the newly released set called Out of This World. I used four images plus a sentiment to make this. There are really endless possibilities with this adorable set!!! After stamping out my scenario I colored with copics and added some glitter with my spica pen to the stars. Now I am looking at my picture and I am noticing that my sentiment is forcing my circle to one side. How funny!! I sure hope you will play along with us this week. Here are all the deets:

I chose to work with the cute image called Baby Carter and Toys. I went with some very cute yellow polka dot paper from Echo Park, used the pacific point color for a little pop and embossed the white panel with a cuttlebug folder. Image was colored with copics and cut out with circle and scallop circle nesties. A few silver brads to the side and this card is done.

No Markers??

Okay so my fellow trendsetter Kim gave us a challenge this week to put down our markers this week at There She Goes. So I created this card over the weekend channeling my inner Julie Lacey and I thought I was following the challenge correct. Wrongo for me.....we were supposed to use another coloring medium which is the challenge for you. Now the only other coloring medium I have are prisma pencils and I have NO idea how to color with them so therefore this is the card I am showing you today. I do hope you like it and I hope you will play along the correct way with the challenge this week. Here is all the information for you:

Good Morning!!! It is so beautiful here on Long Island but the weather is just still so cold. Hopefully it will warm up alittle bit later on.

We have another beautiful sketch for you from our guest DT Sketch artist Heidi. You can find all the deets and the gorgeous sketch on the Skipping Stones Site.

For my card today I used the Dandelion Dreams set. With Baja Breeze ink I stamped my image three times and for the little fly aways I used the stamp off technique to lighten up the ink. I am sorry I cannot remember which pad of paper this came from. It was one of the new My Minds Eye Stella and Rose. I am pretty sure. My lace was some that I have had in stock for so long and was glad to use it. Under that is a scallop border and my flower is a pretty Prima.

Okay so I have to say...this has been a very funky week for me with my card making. I have been so out of wack...not sure why but I can see it is showing in my work. I am not 100 percent happy with my weeks work but I definitely wanted to share with you the fun color challenge this week at By LORi Designs.

I prefer to use Designer Paper on my cards and had a heck of a time finding one with this color combo in it so I went with the celery, red and orange and here is what I came up with

My image is sweet Puddle Jumper Lyla from the latest release and like the rest of the week, I pulled out My Minds Eye Stella and Rose paper. For my layout I went to this past Sunday and used Karen Girons Sweet Sunday Sketch.

Wow Tuesday already!!! I am so far behind in everything I need to do around my house. I am having one of those overwhelmed moments. KWIM?? But I am excited to bring you this weeks Skipping Stones Design sketch challenge which was created by Heidi Blankenship and we are also showcasing two awesome sets this week. Chick Chat and Grey Hares. For my card today I chose to work with Grey Hares and some yummy new paper from My Minds Eye Stella and Rose. I pretty much followed the sketch to a T and just added my sentiment panel next to my image...added some prima flowers and alittle ribbon.

New challenge for the week at There She Goes Clear Stamps and this one was issued to us by the boss lady. Jessica!!! Who is such a super nice person.

She wants us to create a ONE LAYER card that has images stamped in the same color as the card base (monotone) to create a background scene, and then stamp the main image onto a separate piece of cardstock. The main image must then be colored, cut out, and added to the monotone card base to complete the scene.

Here is what I came up with using the set Cattitude. Not much to explain. Used Baja Breeze cardstock and ink. Colored with my copics. EASY!! We would love for you to play along with us also. Here are all the deets:

Hi Everyone! I have been asked to join the DT over at Crafters Companion. If you are not familiar with them, please go and check them out. They sell the most adorable stamps and are well known for their Ultimate Crafters Companion which is an all in one crafting station for lack of a better word. With this tool you can cut, emboss, make bows, score, make both flat envelopes and envelope boxes and create all kinds of interesting 3d projects. I am just learning how to use my tool but did create a cute envelope to go with my card today using stamps from Crafters Companion from the SWALK line. This image is called SWALK 2 Best MUM. Precious huh?? I colored this up with my copics and used some fun Echo Park paper that I had in stock.

For my card today I decided to play with my Loads of Fun set and paired it with some yummy paper from MME Stella and Rose Hattie. LOVE these colors and LOVE this fun set. I had a good time paper piecing all of the hanging garments and then coloring the rest of the image with my copics. I went alittle layer crazy on this one and then finished things off with a fun pale yellow bow and some tiny crystals in the upper left corner.

Wow do I love the colors for By LORi Designs Color Challenge this week!! Here is what you have to work with.

For my card today I pulled out some old and much loved SU paper and used Lollipop Kaylee for my image. I printed her onto Xpress Blend It paper and colored with my copics. My layout is from this past Sundays Sweet Sunday Sketch. I just flipped it a bit. My extras are some cute little light green pearls, kiwi kiss ribbon and a fiskars border punch. For my card today I used the fun Buckets of Love set. I created a real simple layout for this one with just a touch of Designer Paper. I dry embossed the red panel with my Seeing Spots Folder. My image was stamped and colored with copics and cut out with circle nesties. I did alittle sponging around the image and then added a pretty red bow and some red crystals to finish this off.

I am so excited to post a There She Goes card this week as a new Trendsetter. I am still giddy with excitement. For todays card I used a newer There She Goes set called Back in Ten. This sentiment is so appropriate because this weekend I will be spending time with good friends at Stamp Around NH and hitting a bunch of good stamping stores along the way. So special friends, special moments and great shopping.

But now let me tell you about my card. I stamped this cutie image onto Xpress Blending Paper and colored with copics and cut it out with my square nesties. My DP is a new MME Stella and Rose pad and I used this weeks weeks MOJO sketch. Ribbon and cardstock is all PTI and I dry embossed with my seeing spots folder.

So I am off to finish packing. I hope you enjoy your weekend and I will try and take pixs to share with you all!!!!

BLDC7 with a Sweet Sunday Sketch

Thursday = another color challenge from By LORi Designs. Lori has such a knack of putting together the most delish color combos and we hope that you will play along with us.

This week I paired the challenge up with a sketch from Karen Girons Sweet Sunday Sketch. Great sketch, great color combo and an awesome digi....what more can a girl want.

I used Lollipop Emery for todays card. I printed her onto Xpress Blending Paper and colored with copics. The image was cut out with circle nesties and I sponged the edges of the image while it was still in the die to create that white border. My DP is from MME Stella and Rose Gertie. Brads and sheer ribbon were added to finish this little cutie off.

So I can hardly contain my excitement and I could not wait for today to arrive. Jessica at There She Goes Stamps has asked me to be a trendsetter!!!! I was beyond excited as I just LOVE LOVE her adorable stamps. You can check out the announcement here and see the fabulously talented ladies that I will have the pleasure of working with!!!

Today I am sharing with you alittle card I made a few weeks ago which was posted on SCS but not here. It was created with a set called Wonderful Winter Wishes. I just love this set because it celebrates winter and not just the holidays. Fabulous!!!

This little cutie was stamped onto Xpress Blending Paper and colored with copics. My dp is older SU stuff which I do still have and love!!! I sponged all the edges with tea dye, added a big pink pirouette ribbon, some brads and a pretty pink prima. Love this set and I love how this card came out!!!

This weeks challenge keyword is BLDC6 and here is my card that I came up with to share with you. I used the sweetest image called Sugarsticks Love You Friend. So sweet huh?? I printed my image onto Xpress Color Blending Paper and colored with my copics.

I used a simple layout with some older SU papers and made my image the main focus of this card. A few brads in the corners and alittle bow and this is done.

For my card today I used the beautiful set called Heartsong. I stamped the sweet bird and music staff onto Kraft cardstock in Baja breeze and then stamped the simple sentiment in black on the bottom. My paper is O/A. Ribbon and brads are from Michaels and I did alittle paper piercing on either side of the sentiment.
